I was at the food basics across from Techumseh Mall today (11/ 02/ 2023) at around 6pm give or take, I was with my kids & in a rush trying to do our grocery shop and get back home. Of course, my card wasn't working with tap and it asked for the passcode that I just couldn't remember, I started frantically searching for it in my phone and while doing so the sweetest woman paid for my groceries! I wish I had gotten your name but I didn't think of that until after.

I just wanted to give you a special shout-out and say THANK YOU again, that was the kindest most thoughtful thing, and I hope that the kindness you showed me finds it's way back to you 💕

Today, while driving on Hwy#3 heading toward Leamington, a light MINT coloured SMART CAR turned right in front of us never realizing we were on coming, due to 2 vehicles in the turning lane that blocked their view.
Please don't take chances with your lives or other people's lives! Don't turn unless you KNOW it is safe to do so!
If you know someone who may own this vehicle, please pass this important message on. Today, my daughter, myself and definitely this person could have all easily been a statistic on that Hwy.

I wanted to apologize to the young couple getting out of their car in the Rexall parking lot on Ouellette/ Giles. We were parked side-by-side and quite close to each other on the afternoon of Monday, May 29, 2023 and I saw the female driver carefully come out of her vehicle, while trying not to hit my car door. I, on the other hand, was not so careful and quickly drove off in a hurry while the female driver was still near my car and while I was driving away and still in the parking lot, I saw the male passenger in my rear-view mirror, who was also out of his vehicle, give me the one finger salute and I agreed with him. This was an extremely isolated incident for someone like myself who tries to be careful while driving. I wish you both well and I'm owning up to my mistake and learning from it. I need to be an even more careful and conscientious driver. After all, driving is a privilege, not a right. May we all be safe on the road and in this case, even in a parking lot.

Thank you so much to the gentleman who found my purse in a shopping cart at Metro on Central today and turned it in. I had my son in the cart and took him out and didn't notice it was still in there behind him. I was praying while driving back to the store that it was found by someone honest. I really wish I could've thanked you in person. It's so nice to know that there's some great people out there.
I will definitely be doing a random act of kindness tomorrow and remembering this kind deed.

Many kudos to the man on the motorcycle who pulled over and stopped on Riverside Drive around 3 p.m. on Friday, May 6 ... in order to escort a family of geese (father, mother, and three tiny little goslings) across the road to the slightly wilder area on the side away from the river.

I just want to give a special shout out to the nice lady that gave me 75 cents today so I could buy some potatoes at shoppers drug Mart on Wyandotte Street west. Thank you very much you were in the right place at the right time today thank you again.

To the man who was dropping off his prescriptions at Shoppers in the mall around 5PM today thank you. I had to come into the pharmacy to talk to them about changing the delivery driver for my medications because he kept giving me compliments for months and it started to feel like harassment. I'm a young woman and the driver is an old man. The man dropping off his prescriptions sympathized with me and said that I shouldn't have to pick up my meds because Shoppers drivers behave badly. I really felt seen especially since a man told me this because even my own mother and my best friend who are women could not empathize with me and prioritized the perspective of the delivery driver. It helped me feel safe and secure that there are people who know what harassment can look like and I felt really validated. I was able to get a different delivery driver so everything worked out in the end. Thank you so much to this kind gentleman, you have been spotted.
