I have seen this so many times and absolutely disgusted at this generation being raised. Often seeing the most disrespect while shopping with there kiddos. Just a reminder... if you are bringing your children out too shop please be mindful and watch them. I see it often however this evening I saw it and wanted to share. Workers are trying to clean their store while parents are shopping and letting them run around, destroying sections of the store. The workers asked them politely to stop running repeatedly and to put things back when they were done. The parents did not care what so ever and continued to wreck the store themselves. It's distasteful and just plain rude! Have some respect. Not to mention the fact that running through stores while other customers are trying to shop is quite annoying as well as those kids could end up hurt.
All in all if this isn't you please don't be offended however if this is your parenting style take as much offence as you want as long as you got the message !
I just wanted to spot Andrew at the Walmart (Dougall location) Vision Center. As long as Andrew is working there, I'll never get a pair of glasses from anywhere else. He was professional but down to earth. Didn't try to sell me on anything that I didn't want/ need. I always have someone with me to help me choose, and this time around, it was a bit of an emergency, and I needed them A.S.A.P., so I had to go alone. If a pair was a little too big, in the nicest possible way, he let me know that, and suggested another pair. One of the 2 pairs that I purchased (had to get 2 because the prices were absolutely amazing) were one of the first that he chose to have me try on. He just knew! Lol. Andrew, you were wonderful, and I appreciate the assistance. Thanks so much! I LOVE my glasses! And the fact that it didn't break the bank! AND that they were expected to come in between 5-7 days, and came in 2. There was nothing about the entire experience that wasn't perfect. Again, ty, ty, ty!
Found Dougall Ave area on Tuesday.
It's locked. Tell me what's on the lock screen to identify.
I was home on my lunch and some young guy came to the door with a binder and a somewhat credible looking name badge for Water Source (or something like that) and asked if I had copper pipes. When I responded, "I think so" he started mumbling about checking my water intake in the house and said, "do you want my shoes off when I come in?" and motioned toward me like he was coming in.
I told him that he was not coming in my house to check anything. I saw him and another young guy knocking on every door up and down the street (Gladstone Ave. in Walkerville). Not sure what they were up to but I am sure it was nothing good and I thought that the community should know.
On January 19th I came to the emergency room at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus, after 11pm.
I was seen by a kind and caring RN - Pam, who took excellent care of me while I waited for a place inside the ER. I would like to thank you Pam, for your excellent attention and prompt care!! Shout out also to Dr Varsava and Dr Sweden!! And of course, all of the other staff who took care of me that night🙂
YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!

To the lady with an umbrella walking down Tecumseh heading west between George and Central. There was a little dip in the road there that had some water sitting in it. I was driving behind the truck who splashed you good as he drove through that puddle. As I watched you wave your arms to clean them, and to shake off whatever water you could. It was too late when I realized I was about to also go through the puddle and splash you. Mine was more at your shoes only because you were a few steps away. I wanted to stop and say sorry but traffic was lined up behind me and I was already kinda late driving the kids to school.
So, I'm sorry I got your shoes and it sucked the truck infront of me got the rest of you. I've had that happen to me once when I was in Toronto a few years ago, it isn't fun. Hope your day only gets better after that!!
My best friends had all their best Magic the Gathering cards stolen, among a few other prized possessions.
If you Mr thief, happen to see this, please know that you just stole from two of the kindest hearted people i've ever met. Had you befriended them, they would have given you the shirts from their backs. They would have helped you in any way possible, so you would never feel the need to take what is not yours. Now, after over 13 years of collecting, their hearts are broken and they may have given up on something they have been passionate about since they were in high school. I know you won't care, but because I am a sincerely good person, I hope Karma never catches up to you, because I don't think you can handle the torment that you would deserve for this.
