I wanted to let you know that Pet Valu on Wyandotte in the Giant Tiger plaza will be holding pet photos with Santa Paws this Tues from 5-8 pm. so c'mon out and support a great cause, all proceeds go to help local pet rescue organizations.

Today around 5pm, my boyfriend and I were out for dinner at Gilligans on Walker rd. The restaurant was very busy with Christmas parties and had limited seating for walk in customers. A couple with two younger children came in and the only available seating was 2 separate tables of 2. I'm sure the family just wanted to eat so they agreed to the seating arrangement. Just as they were about to sit down another couple who was sitting at a 4 person table offered up their table to the family of 4. I was so happy to see the smiles on the faces of that whole family. To the couple who gave up your table, you have been spotted :)

Today, Saturday, December 13th, around noon, my family and I were driving down Ouellette. We saw a man, sitting with his black dog on the sidewalk, leaning against a building. The man was holding a sign, I was too far away to read what it said, but I'm guessing he was in need of something. Two ladies walked across the street and handed the man a white bag, the ladies and the man exchanged a few quick words before the ladies continued walking. The man and his dog, both seemed very happy with this gift. The man gave something to his dog, then he pulled out a banana and ate it himself. You ladies brought both myself and my husband to tears with this act of compassion and generosity. We saw today by your example, the true meaning of Christmas! From the bottom of my heart, I thank you!

My daughter was in one of the choirs singing with Music Express this afternoon at L'essor. A girl from one of the other schools collapsed on the stage. My daughter is expressing concern for her and we are hoping that someone knows her and is able to tell us if she is okay.
