On March 29 2020, after a long shift at Windsor Regional Ouellette Campus, I found a beautifully drawn thank you card. So I just wanted to give a huge shout out to the kind and thoughtful individual(s) that made such lovely thank you cards for healthcare workers, and left them on our windshields for us to find after we were done work. It definitely put a smile on my face on my way home from work tonight :)

I just want to shutout many of the unsung heroes in this whole pandemic, focussing on hospital staff in this post. Nurses doctors are absolutely heroes and super strong, but anyone working right now also is. One of the main unsung heroes I found are the security guards. I know theyre underpaid as it is, but they show up everyday and work to keep everyone safe. They show up to calls not knowing what to expect, and are consistently dealing with melt downs of the public be it for rules they dont agree with, or dealing with emotional times.
So thank you security for holding it down so everyone else's job is safer.

Just wondering if anyone in the Gladstone, Cataraqui, Lincoln, Niagara area has had their tires slashed last night/ early morning (03/ 27-03/ 28) and/ or possibly has dashcam or doorbell video of it? Myself and about 5 neighbours on the 800 block of Gladstone Ave woke to flat tires with holes punched through. Police were notified and said that there have been numerous calls/ reports for that area today (03/ 28). Just thought I'd reach out and make people aware that this is happening. Hopefully someone has it on camera and this person/ people are caught. What a time to be a nasty human...smh.

Went for walk down Laurier today in Lasalle and from Matchette all the way down were inspirational quotes like "You are beautiful", "Remember to be kind", "Take care of yourself", "We will be ok" etc all written in chalk every so many sidewalk blocks or so with flowers and designs etc. To whomever took the time to write those (or if you know who did please tell them) - you are a gift during these crazy times and I am so grateful for your work - thank you :-) 🙏💞

Just wanted to share what I found in my door this week. It's awesome to see what we can all do for each other in this time of need. This really warmed my heart. We all need to stick together and help each other out. We will get through this!!!!

I just want to put this out there as a mother of a young child. You should really not talk about this issue around children or small ones, and keep in mind not everyone can drop their kid off with someone. So they can go out and get things they need.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that was able to get multiple packs of toilet paper and Lysol wipes. As a cancer patient, this has caused so much more stress on top of an already stressful situation. I hope everyone that purchased more than what they could possibly need are proud.
We are all in this together....but many have proven they are just out for themselves when we need to band together and help each other out.
