Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
Spotted : Woke up this morning to see snow drifts and alloy of snow out there. When out to shovel and my senior neighbor came over and offered me a hand. We finished my driveway and we did the sidewalks. I looked across the street and my old fella neighbor George was completely buried in snow drifts and has a long driveway. I yelled out to my other neighbours shoveling hey let's give George a hand. So together after half an hour we got him completely cleaned out he was extremely grateful. But my pet peeve is this, the man next-door has a big snowblower watch this all of us do this work and yet stood there. Sometimes as neighbors we may not get along but this kind of weather is very taxing on our seniors it's a good neighbor that helps out and puts differences aside on days like today. Just my thoughts.
Spotted : This morning on my way to work I got stuck in a huge snowbank off of Banwell near the Macs. A snow plow came behind and plowed more snow in the area where I was stuck and didn't offer any assistance. Thank you to the Man I believe was in Silver Volkswagen who stopped and assisted me to get my car out. Also to the man who came later in the Black Ford Edge. You stopped to help me when no one else would.
Thank you dearly. You have been Spotted!
Spotted: A huge heartfelt thank you to the snow angels on Ferndale Ave that don't have to, but just do. My neighbour being one, who comes and snow blows my driveway more often than one could expect. The man two doors down who has a tractor with a plow on the front who clears the sidewalks religiously when it snows... and sometimes for the whole block. And the really nice gentleman who out of the blue showed up on a 4 wheeler of some sort in front of Coronation school today and just started plowing through the walkways to keep the kids safe. You and many others like you across the city have indeed been spotted. God Bless the snow angels!
Spotted : To the gentleman who plowed Villaire Ave this morning, THANK YOU! You didn't even work for the city just a guy who seen a bad road.
As a Villaire Ave resident we are pretty used to this street never being done. Even days after the main streets have been plowed. So this was was most certainly welcomed.
If you are ever back down here stop by for a coffee, second last house on left.
Sincerely,
Villaire Ave
Spotted : Just wanted to send a huge thank you again to the man who helped me in the midst of the snowstorm yesterday. I was leaving Metro at Central and Tecumseh when my windshield wiper broke. I was in the parking lot trying to fix it when a kind hearted man stopped to help. Turns out he had to switch the wipers because the drivers side was completely broken, I never would have figured it out! He reminded me a lot of my dad{would do anything for anyone} and even more when he went to his truck to get electrical tape....always prepared! :)
Thank you again! Because of you I was able to get home safe and warm!
you've been spotted: my wonderful neighbors, who always come thru to help me.....thank you for shoveling me out. I wasn't sure how I was going to get my walkway shovelled, when I looked outside someone was shovelling not only my walkway but my porch too. Thank you so much Tambo and Chris, you guys are wonderful!!!!
