My amazing parents! This year marks my parents' 25th wedding anniversary! They have both went above and beyond the concept of 'good parenting', trying their best no matter how hard times get to ensure my sister and I have everything we need. I couldn't have asked for a more loving, caring, and supportive mother and father. They help me in every challenge life brings me, and are currently helping to put me through university, an opportunity that they've made available to me regardless of financial situation. I can't repay them for all of the kindness they have shown me, but hopefully, with your help, I can start by winning them this prize! My parents have never spent money just on themselves, never bought things they didn't need, and haven't been on a vacation alone since their honeymoon. They constantly strive to be the best people, with no personal cruises, shopping sprees, etc. If you're looking for a kind deed to do today, please vote for Shelley and Kevin Atterbury. Winning this prize for them would be the ultimate way to reward their positive 'spotted' occurrences. Thank you all so much!

My elderly mother was shopping at M.R. Meats and Fred's Produce yesterday. When she was done her shopping, she packed her trunk with her purchases from the Produce store, but accidentally left her grocery bag full of meat in the shopping cart. With her hard-earned money, she had purchased a couple of steaks, some sausage and some lunch meat. She realized a short time later that she didn't have her meat purchases, and went back to both stores.

No one had turned in her bag of groceries. My mom, a widow living only on pension benefits, hopes that the person who stole her groceries really needed it more than she did...

I am writing this post on behalf of Arnie & Marcy McCallum.
Arnie would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You to call the children big and small that have enjoyed his books. You have all enriched his life with the special little stories you have shared with him during his career. There have been a couple of posts on here over the last week regarding Arnie and he is very touch by your kind words.

If you are reading this and do not know who Arnie is....he is a local childrens author with a heart of gold. He loves the see the childrens faces light up from his stories and often gives them little gifts to entice them to read.

Thank you Arnie for all you do....you bring a smile to so many people everyday. Keep up the good work.

Although this did not occur in Windsor, I think it is an amazing idea and our city should learn from it with all of the students and adults who walk to work and school. To the thoughtful people who took the time to start this, you have been spotted! A scarf would've been useful today :)
