Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
SPOTTED : Tonight I had been in walmart, not in a good mood since it was so packed. it was so overwhelming that there were so many people inside there and not even carts left for anyone. I had realized everyone was in a bad mood and when I had my cart blocking an isle as I was looking at something and I thought here comes a lady who is going to yell at me for having it like that. when she walked up to me she said "I just wanted to say you are very beautiful, and Merry Christmas". People in good spirits help bring other peoples spirits up.
A woman with her mood turned right around
Spotted, Citizens who ride the bus:
Please remember to courteous to one another especially elderly and definitely the bus driver's!!! Don't shoot the messenger... Remember that saying? It's not they're fault if the bus is full already on a busy day and they can't pick any more passengers up or strollers/ wheelchairs. Also a simple " thank you, hello, or enjoy your day/ night" can brighten some ones mood! Bus drivers deal with thousands of people everyday and that means thousands of different personalities/ attitudes. And the front seats as clearly marked are reserved for elderly let's not forget to move for them. And mostly CAN WE ALL BE A LOT MORE PATIENT! Bags will get bumped as people will too. It's expected on crowded city buses especially during the holidays!!
Signed, A rare passenger!
I was on my way home late from the hospital (my mom is in the ICU) and I was waiting for the crosstown 2 downtown. It was utterly freezing and I started crying. Its hard to hold the tears back sometimes. When this nice man waiting for the bus too came up to me and asked if I was OK. I told him and he said I'm so sorry you have to go through that. My mom just beat cancer so I know how things must feel for you. After a few minutes of talking he handed me a little black box with golden writing on it and said this is for you its for hope. I opened it and it was a little glass Christmas bag with candy canes. I told him thank you so much it means allot. He then told me no problem you need it. And never give up always have hope, don't forget that. I just want to let you know you made my night with those words of comfort =)

Spotted : To the brave young lady who jumped in to help a man that was getting mugged outside of TD bank today. So happy to know there are people like you out there that would put their own life in danger to help a complete stranger. I know you will be rewarded for your courage one day. Your strength was truly inspirational and I wanted you to know that you are the definition of a HERO!!
The girl that was moved to tears
p.s. you didn't drink your water
Spotted : To the high school students on the 7pm Crosstown 2 on Friday, please learn some manners. Your language was atrocious and racist and you paid no attention to other passengers as you swung around with your backpacks on. Making fun of people is not cool, grow up!

Spotted in Windsor: I work in nursing, and every afternoon, I take a client of mine to have an afternoon snack at Tecumseh Mall. He enjoys the surroundings as well as his Tim Hortons yogurt. While feeding him, a nice lady walked up, said Merry Christmas, and left a scratch ticket on our table. Just wanted to say that your small gift made my day and restored a little faith in the kindness of others. On a side note, that ticket did not win, but as I searched for a coin to scratch it, I realized I had a toonie. I used that toonie to buy an elderly gentleman a ticket, and one for myself, even though I rarely buy them. Well, that ticket won me $50! Thanks so much for making my day, and I admire that u also did that while with your children...great lesson of kindness and generousity.
A very grateful recipient
