I went to Loewe Emporium today located at 659 Ouellette Ave downtown and was very pleased with the service and advice I received.

I went in because I thought my HID headlights were trash. The employee tested each right in front of me and advised I only needed bulbs. This was a savings for me because I thought I was going to be spending a lot more and if they weren't as professional as they were I woukd have not known any different. Thanks again and good luck for future customers. I'll be back

First and foremost I would like to say thank you to all the business owners at wyandotte and jeanette for their patience over the past week while the workers completed their task at hand on your street. Next I would like to personally thank Jeanette Flowers for the beautiful Calandiva plant they brought out to me for informing their customers how to access her business at this busy time of year. Bob and Vicki Downey were truly blessed with so much love and support from many family and friends during Bob's cancer treatments we are now paying it forward and helping Kim Tucker who is battling cancer for the second time. To the person who decided to pick the flower buds off of the flowers I put in my garden. Why?! You didn't take the stems, so it's not as though you could hand them to someone. I just don't understand why anyone would ruin a garden for no reason whatsoever.
If you're the same person who stole our pretty garden lights, THAT I understand. I mean, it's wrong and terrible, but at least there's a reason; selling them or keeping them for your own yard.
But to destroy my flowers for NO reason, is just sad. And pathetic. My mom and I worked really hard to make our place look like a home.

Thanks for trying to ruin that.

My sister was walking down University Avenue today in front of the Tim Horton's and spotted something near the middle of the road. She walked closer to it and it never moved she then realized it was a small bird. The bird's leg was broken pretty badly and couldn't move much. She directed the bird to the side of the road so it wouldn't get hit by a car. A man pulled in to the Tim Horton's parking lot and proceeded to help my sister move the bird safely to the side walk. Others also responded to seeing my sister helping the little bird. Anyways, just wanted to thank everyone who was considerate enough to the take the time out of their daily lives to help the bird out and bring it to safe grounds. Thank you.

Help support the kids in our community by stopping by the walker road Canadian Tire on Saturday for Jumpstart Day!! There will be a BBQ, a car wash, a bake sale, face painting, games and a raffle. All proceeds go towards covering registration and equipment fees for kids in our community who otherwise can't afford to participate in organized sports. Hope to see you there!
