I work at a restaurant downtown and just as the storm was hitting us, the owner asked me to chase an employee down the street. There was a woman waiting for her food and offered to lend me her umbrella so I didn't get drenched looking for said employee. Just wanted to say thank you to that woman, would have been drenched for the rest of the night if it wasnt for her!

A family member of mine was recently admitted to the CCU at Hotel Dieu Hospital.
We had a terrible experience with Dr. A.F. Jina. He was extremely rude and humiliated my family member. He had a terrible lack of respect and bed side manner. For a hospital that advertises compassionate care, this is completely unnacceptable, and from what I've been reading online, this isn't the first time that this doctor has been out of line. Will definately be making a complaint about him.

To all who attend the Tecumseh Dog Park: Be advised blood tests came back for my Boxer Jasmine and showed she was poisoned. the poisoning happened on Friday,13th of June. She was walking unattended at the rear of the park by the fence area. It's not known what poison was used, but it was strong enough to start attacking all of her internal organs and causing her to have multiple seizures. Jasmine has been under my Vets care since Saturday morning, along with numerous medications and multiple IV treatments her prognosis is grim. The OPP were notified and information given to them, they said "there has been no other complaints". I notified Windsor & Essex Humane Society Investigation Department early today but no one has returned my call as of yet. Hopefully this message will get out so no other dogs will be harmed.

My cat Abby is 5 years old and I noticed that she was having some kind of issue going on with her mouth but didn't know what it could be so I waited it out for a couple weeks to see if the problem would go away. when weeks went by and she was still acting funny and crying in pain I decided to go out to my neighbors house to ask to borrow a cat cage so I could bring Abby to the animal hospital but let my neighbor know that I didn't need the cage till Friday so I could bring her in... My neighbor said I could borrow it and then asked me what was wrong with Abby... When I told her what I thought was going on inside her mouth she decided to take me to the animal hospital yesterday to have her checked right away... So we get there and the doctor ordered a certain test looking for aids and other things... When the test comes back negative we were very happy... The vet then told us that Abby would need surgery on her teeth due to a rare condition not common in cats... They ended up removing 17 teeth and also fixed her gums... The vet comes in with the bill of 900$ before surgery... My neighbor then turned to me and said "don't worry about paying me back" "Just pay it forward to someone else who may need your help"" Who does that??? My neighbor has a heart of gold and I’m so happy that someone out there cares enough for others as well as animals.... YOU HAVE BEEN SPOTTED!!!

I am a non smoker and find the habit extremely disgusting. In saying that, I know it's your body and you can do what you want. I would however ask that you be more considerate of those around you. We do not want to inhale your second hand smoke! Its awful! Do you realize that going through a drive thru with a lit ciggeratte blows all your toxins into the window and person serving you?Do you realize that smoking right outside a store enterance means everyone has to walk through the smoke cloud you've created? Would you please think twice about where you are before lighting up? You never know who the person you're affecting is. Is it someone with health problems? Asthma? A child? A pregnant woman? Your decision to smoke has consquences on others around you! Thank you in advance!
