Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
So.... I always read these kind spotted in windsor posts and try to keep faith that there are good people out there but life always seems to throw me blows so its hard to keep that faith up. BUT.... Yesterday I didnt feel like cooking so when my son woke up from his nap, we walked up to subway. I ordered our food which was only a little sub and a little pizza so when they said it came to like almost 19 bucks I thought to myself, yup not coming back here for dinner. Anyways, we are sitting there eating and E was being himself, lol, not eating well and being loud but funny. 2 gentlemen walked in and E shouts "Hiiiiiiiii" They laughed and ordered their food as E kept up his crazy/ cutness. This is where I am not sure why, maybe they heard me say your driving your Momma crazy today or something lol, but as I started to clean up and was a few feet away at the garbage the 2 gentlemen walked by E and handed him a 20 and loudly said "Here little guy, buy your mom dinner" and walked out without me even having a chance to give it back!!!! : , ) So to the 2 gentleman that personally warmed my heart and kicked a little more faith into me yesterday.... THANK YOU! You opened my heart a little more and I will be sure to pass the kindness along someday, somehow!!!!
Tecumseh actually, KFC on Amy Croft Drive. The store was closing at 9pm, which I was not aware of, until my friend and I got there. I felt bad we were arriving so late and knew these young kids would likely be looking forward to ending their shift on time. So I told them we would take it to go. The person at the counter insisted we stay and dine in, told us to take our time. He personally delivered our food to our table when it was ready. He engaged conversation with us and was promoting the new Mojitos. Honestly I have never seen a kid in the fast food industry behave so professional in all my life. Very mature and customer service oriented. I had a bad feeling when I pulled up, realizing they were closing soon, and likely not wanting these late orders, but I tell you it was the complete opposite outcome. They made me feel like I was wanted back, genuinely. Koodos to this young man.
I was just Discharged after a long 12 day stay at Met hospital, although they never figured out what was wrong with me I would love to SPOT the fantastic Nurses I had while on the 7th Floor, Liz, Tatiana, Tanya,Lori just to name a few but Liz really stood out to me she was always there checking on me and filling my medical needs in any way she could so compassionate and caring I just had to tell Windsor the surgical floor In Met hospital just rocks!!!!! As well as Dr Laschuk he did everything possible to find the cause of my pain Well done kudos to all of you there!!!!! A very grateful patient!!!
This protest is a call for peace. As people no matter what race you are we should stand for those being oppressed all over the world. We live here in peace while people can't hide in their own house and be safe. We will be meeting where the Greek Festival is held and walking over to the corner of Ellis & Ouellette where our Member of Parliament office is. We elected him, I think he needs to hear our voice and act!

I posted a ad on a buying and selling page on Fb for transformers stuff for my sons birthday. A lady had some stuff and we came to a agreement and a few toys, she had more but I just couldn't afford any more, and I picked it up today and she threw in added toys. She made it seem like no big deal but when your a laid off mom of two thos act of kindness is huge. Thank you so much for making my sons birthday great. I know he is going to love everything! From on Mom to another thank you. You kind woman have been spotted.
