Awesome nurse

I want to thank my moms nurse Becky I
at Met campus on 4th floor west. You have been so sweet & most of patient with mom and myself. Your dedication to your job is very well recognized. You are giving my mom exceptional care. You nurses put in such long hours & deal with so much on a regular basis. You are great at what you do and I just really needed you to know how much I appreciate you. So thank you once again.

Thank you to the girls who found ny phone

I do not know who these girls are but I want to sincerely thank them for turning in my phone at Metro westend today (Sunday afternoon). If I was your mother I would be very proud of your actions and I praise your parents for raising such amazing girls. I wish everyone knew who you were so you could receive smiles from people all day. You did what might seem to some as a small gesture but to me means so much more than that. You are awesome and I thank you.

Enwin Gives Quick Friendly Service

While watching a movie with my children tonight - all of a sudden there was a HUGE bang and all the power went out on our side of the street. I called Enwin to inform them of the situation and spoke with Jay who was super friendly and took all the information. An hour and 20 minutes later - after doing shadow puppets with the kids - the power came back on. Yay! Lettin my dog in from the back yard, an Enwin employee called over the fence to check and see if everything was back up and running!
So - to Jay and his coworkers - thank you for your quick and friendly service. You have been spotted :)

LOST WALLET BIG REWARD

Big brown wallet with some design on it

My husband, myself & our children went shopping at fresh Co today (july 12, 2014) at around 1:30/ 2pm. On Tecumseh & Rivard. My husband was holding my wallet counting what money I had left for me. From there my husband figures he either placed it in the shopping cart while he put our son into the van or it fell out of the diaper bag as he was walking from the cart return back to the car.

It could have also fallen out when we stopped at the windsor airport near the windsor flying club doors. When we were showing our son the planes

This wallet has all my Id as well as my kids ID (sin # & health card) as well as some money (I know exactly how much but that's not the most important)
It would be greatly appreciated if it has been found that it be returned both myself & my son have constant health issues.

If the wallet is returned with everything inside there is a huge reward !

Canadian RE-tire

I was shopping yesterday at Canadian aka Crappy Tire, this older woman was looking for a faucet that she had seen on sale in the flyer. She asked me if I knew about it, I didn't so I was helping her look. The Canadian Tire sales associate approached us so I went on my way to shop, then all I could over hear from the next isles over was that the sales man was being extremely rude to the lady! She had an accent but she had no problems speaking or understanding English. However, the sales man had a problem listening and being a good helper. The sales man was also being sarcastic and dismissing her inquiry rudely and the sweet lady didn't even say a thing to him about his unprofessionalism but It angered me so much that I walked back over there. How he was acting was just ridiculous and extremely inappropriate. He also was trying to snuff her off and say "Like I already told you I don't know, the price tag is gone and there isn't any flyers here to check!!!!" -COME ON...You work here!!! Sorry for requiring you to do a little work rather than wander the isles and try to look busy; omg I did not appreciate how he spoke to this lady, Her (italian, romanian maybe) accent, does not make her deaf either! In an attempt to fix the situation, I simply went back there and asked the lady if she found what she was searching for? She told me the sales man was looking. So I then asked him if he knew which is the one that was on sale? He didn't. He had a scanner in his hand so I asked him politely can you just scan it to find out? He said there were no price tags to scan so I said couldn't you just scan the boxes to find the one on sale then? In a huff he sarcastically said "ya, but I'd have to find it." I said okay!! He started looking again, and the lady thanked me. Social Justice starts before school is over and the degree is earned. I wouldn't care if you had to scan every bar-code in the store, It's your job! Don't act like customers are bothering you, you are working and getting paid for providing customer service. POOR customer service at that! PS: A slight language barrier/ accent does not give you the right to be a bully!
If you hate your job, retire all ready. SMILE! You've been spotted!

Pyros in the Villages

To the fire starters who went up and down Village Drive early Friday morning and set all of the trash cans and Windsor Star newspaper bundles on fire, you've been spotted. We have a description and will be watching from now on.
You even set a bundle on fire beside a parked car. Could have been a lot worse. Get a life.
