I was just over at East Windsor Convenience for some stuff, and my bill came to $11 something, I only had a $10 on me, and as I am a regular there, the very kind owner was going to let me come back next time with the remainder of the money, when the kind customer just after me, handed him a toonie, as she had gotten it for free herself. I thanked her and told her I would pay it forward when I got the chance.
On that note, I wanted to spot the owners of East Windsor Convenience, I have been a regular customer there for over 6 years now, and they are always very friendly and have let me come back when I was short on money for my purchases.
Found dog in Amherstburg. male Labradoodle, fixed and microchipped, but no info registered.
Today my asst and I took our daycare class to High Jinks in Tecumseh, though some of the children have been there before with their families, this was my first time.
The young man working was very friendly and informative it was obvious he enjoyed being there.
We arrived at opening but as the morning went on it was very busy and he handled everything very well on his own until the next staff arrived.
Thank you for this great experience, wish my children were younger as I would definitely take them.
And the bonus was Wednesdays are 2 for the price of one!
Thank you High Jinks!!
Spotted : Would like to send out a big thanks to the lady that was kind enough to offer me the 30 cents that i was short @ Pet Smart. It's not alot but it was very thoughtful and i wanted to make note of it,Thanks again :)
Hoping to use the power of Social Media to find my dog. My Jack Russell named Jack went missing yesterday afternoon (tuesday july 15th) he escaped from the backyard. I live in the Riverside area along the Ganatchio Trail. He is mainly white with some black patches. He is an older dog with a bad hip.
spotted: the mothers of the horrible 6 teenage boys that came into my taco bell Tuesday night. I'm so sorry you have to deal with these disrespectful young men. After trying to bring their bikes into the store, I told them that I couldnt allow any bikes in the store, they began yelling at me saying that someone would steal it. after fighting with them, they finally put their bikes outside, I served them their food and a couple minues later they tried sneaking their bikes in again. I told them to put it outside again. After all of this, they began filling their cups with pop after not paying for any, and that was the last straw. I told them they would have to leave, they began yelling and swearing at us. Completly uncalled for, they will not be welcome in the store again. and im sadly sorry that some parents have to deal with such disrespectful children.
This morning, after reading all the complaining the last few days over garbage lids and pails, I watched my garbage man (Alexis Rd). He undid all the lids on my garbage pails and placed, yes placed, them on the ground in front of the pails. He emptied each pail (there were 3) and placed them upside down on the lawn. No throwing, no slamming, just easy does it. He did this, as far as I could tell, down the whole street. Thank you! You have been spotted and I hope you have a fantastic day!
I was rear ended on the weekend in the drive through at a popular fast food restaurant. The person that hit me was not exactly nice. After pulling over to examine my car, she pulled over to look as well. It was a very small dent and I am well aware that people have bad days. I was willing to look the other way until I asked what happened to make her hit me. She basically said she wasn't paying attention. And it has been an uphill battle ever since.
To all those bad drivers out there.... Remember driving is a privilege. It can be very dangerous and very scary. Take your phones out of your hands so your hands can be used on a steering wheel! Keep your eyes on the road! And if for whatever reason an accident happens, the least you can do is apologize and make sure the person you hit is okay.
