"city worker"

Just a few minutes ago my friend called me to vent. He had to get home from ottawa and parent so he was waiting for the bus with his 2 work bags that he needs for the morning. So he gets on the bus at around 11:30pm westbound and is searching for his bus pass..thru his pockets and the 2 bags he has to carry and no luck. The bus driver asks if he wants to get off since he can't find his buds pass and he says "unless i can go downtown without paying that'll be great" well she said no you have to get off. A good Samaritan that has been in that situation before stood up and offered to pay for his buss fare but the rude bus driver did not allow it and told my friend to get off the bus. Her take on it was to teach my friend a lesson. Really? what kind of lesson is that? That a city worker can get away with being rude and ignorant? Believe me not the first time i've been disappointed by a buss driver and probably not the last. So he had to walk from Giles and parent to Ouellette and Riverside with his 2 work bags.

We had a buy one get one coupon for domino's. We decided to use it tonight. My husband calls in the order before he leaves work. He gets home, and although the sticker on both pizzas is correct, one is actually wrong. The domino's is 5 minutes from our house so instead of waiting for a 35 minute delivery he decides to just drive back and pick up our correct order. They offered us a dipping sauce ($.50 worth) for the inconvenience. I said no, I wanted some money back. It didn't have to be a lot, $2 or the cost of a crazy bread. It wasn't our fault the order was wrong. My husband returns 30 minutes later (maybe it would have been quicker with the delivery) and the story he told me blew my mind. First the guy thought we were just returning the pizza for our money back. After arguing with the guy he made a correct pizza and gave my husband $10 back (which we do appreciate). After waiting for the new, correct pizza he hands my husband the cold, incorrect pizza. My husband doesn't check until he's in the parking lot. 30 seconds later he walks back into the store and points out the pizza is still wrong. The employee argues that it's correct and then accuses him of swapping the pizza out for one of the 2 original ones. This argument was only concluded after my husband walks him to the car to prove that there isn't a second pizza in his car. So not only is he implying that he's a liar but also a thief. They walk back into the store and my husband suggests he grabbed the wrong one. Magically he finds the correct pizza sitting on the shelf. My husband left quite upset, thanking the employee for calling him a liar. Once my husband got home, to a partially cold dinner, I called to get the managers name. Yes I used some bad words, I was upset, the employee was arguing with me and took 5 minutes just to give me the name. The guy thought that just because he didn't call him a thief or liar that the implication wasn't there. I hope you enjoyed our patronage because that is the last time we will be using your establishment!

Horribly Ignorant Neighbour

To the horribly ignorant person who left a note on my door stating "CLEAN UP YOUR YARD!! YOU ARE BRINGING THE NEIGHBOUR DOWN! THIS IS NOT A TRAILER PARK". For your infomation...my husband is severely depressed, and waiting to be admitted to the hospital. I work full time, and take care of my two young children, all while trying to keep up with all the household duties. So sorry if our yard is not clean enough for your standards. We are doing the best we can under the circumstances. And if you want to talk trailer trash, in my opinion that is leaving a note like this on your neightbour's door while they are at work.

Black Bunny

Spotted in Windsor.... The years of care given to an abandoned black bunny by the small community on Ray & Joy Rd and the joy and ease for which it lived until the neighbourhood old couple decided they no longer wanted it in their yard and instead of fixing the hole in the fence took the cruel way and snared it which caused the bunny to struggle and die a horrible death where my grandchildren got to see it. Thanks for the memories, may yours never experience the same memory or will you have to try to answer the questions why?

Inhumane

My family lives in a neighbourhood where there has been a black bunny that has lived there for 5 years which has been named "Big black bunny". Everyone is aware of "black bunny" they all feed him, and watch out for him, even the dogs are friendly with this neighbourhood "pet",and everyone at one time or another has lost a leaf or 2 on a plant as a part of black bunny's snacks..lol but, thats all part of nature. The best part is seeing the children, mine included get excited to see "big black bunny". That was until someone thought having a green bean was more valuable then a life. Today "black bunny" was found hanging dead by a wire it got caught in that these neighbours put out for him. There are ways of handling these situations without complete and udder cruelty for example YOU COULD HAVE FIXED YOUR FENCE!!! I hope when I bring my 3 young children over to knock on your door so YOU can explain where "big black bunny" has gone, it is a lot better then he was murdered so I could have green beans!!!!! This is part of what is wrong with the world people thinking they can just kill animals without a second thought!!! Shame on you!

Thug Thief

Thanks a lot to the man who stole my phone from work on Tuesday while I helped him find a cell phone case he asked me for. I didn't even put it down for two seconds before I slipped behind my back and grabbed it off the shelf. Cost me a couple hundred dollars to get it, which I got only 3 days ago! Struggling student now out of her whole pay check. And then when I see you the next day at Tecumseh mall and confront you you sprint out the doors. We have you on camera. Now to find you. Hopefully police can do it.
Phone: White Samsung s5 locked to telus.
Thief: male, Caucasian, arms filled with tattoos, blue eyes, goatee, buzzed hair, roughly age 30, roughly 6 feet tall.

A mother of 2 meets a father of 1 brought together by Karma?

My husband passed 7 years ago and I've been single 5 of those years. About 9 months ago I met this guy after paying for his coffee in a drive thru in tim Hortons. He followed me to thank me and I caught his attention. 3 days later the same drive thru and roughly the same time this guy was 2 cars in front of me. He paid for my order and had pulled over and waited. As I left the drive thru happy that someone paid for my order I noticed him standing outside his car in the parking lot. I stopped and asked was that you? He noted and smiled. We continued to talk and he eventually took my number. Till today we are still dating and I think he is a great guy. I truly believe in Karma, and I'm great fun I was there at the right time on the right day to meet him.
