My friend and I had gone to Applebee's to meet up for dinner. My friend has been through some hardships as of late. After our meal was finished and we asked for the bill, the waiter informed us that a gentleman paid for it but wanted to remain anonymous. Apparently he travels quite a bit and patrons the restaurant every few months during his passing by. I myself have done many random acts of kindness but this was the first that I was able to experience it first hand by a stranger. What an awesome feeling! Thank you kind stranger for making my friend and I's evening! Just the act itself will have lasting warmth in our hearts.

My grandson was going to St. Clare College camp this past summer and was going swimming, after being told to take off his cross and put it in a locker , he forgot to put it back on. It was bought for him for his christening and he has worn it ever since then never taking it off. I pray who ever found it would turn it in or if you know of anyone who found this to contact me. It would be greatly appreciated.

To the person who took my daughters blue iPhone 5 at Devonshire mall today, shame on you for keeping it and not turning it in karma has its way of turning around and biteing you in your butt, so if you do have a heart please contact me no questions asked and will be greatly appreciated it has been flagged as stolen if you try to activate it

Three great things I experienced today :

1) A lady said I love your tie dye dress , it looks beautiful on you which made my day .

2) I got to see my friend Tanya Ulian Robinson and she gave me a book on St Clair College to keep .

3) I didn't know Lauzon 10 bus ended already at Tecumseh Mall . A lady by the name of Karrah called a cab for me and made me put on her jacket because I was cold . We sat down and talked to each other until the taxi came . Since I am always the one to help others every single day ; It was nice to see a wonderful gesture like that happen to me . I will always be grateful for that and I won't take it for granted .

Now for those who take life for granted or cause drama and pain or complain about life ; Look around you & how you can help somebody else out whether at a bus stop grocery store, rescue center , anywhere These small acts of kindness we need more of . I am going to always try my best to help people and animals out everyday because it is that important to me ;and yes I do I have disabilities but I never let it stop me from doing what I am meant to do and that is being a good person. & lt;3 & lt;3

Today I have hit an emotional wall. I like so many other people struggle with making ends meet from payday to payday. I am a generous person giving freely of my time to others, helping with food and clothing drives for local food banks and community organizations. But today I need help. This month I couldn't pay my rent ( the first time in years) or buy grocerys, so I called social services for help, I was told that they could not help me.
I am a widow, I get ODSP and I work part-time. So some people may say "why doesn't she have any money" because I have bills to pay and after "robbing peter to pay paul" for months it finally caught up to me. Do you know what its like to tell your grandchild they cannot sleep over, not because you don't want to see them, its because you have no food to feed them, and are too embarrased to tell your own family?
So if anyone has any ideas or has seen My Dignity Please let me know....

Don't you find it weird that the strike news has subsided? Have they come to an agreement? Will the union wait for PhD students to finish and then execute their right to strike? We are all ready to go back yet this semester still hangs in question. Please share if you demand transparency! It's our money and time that hangs in the balance.

To the lowlife that stole my mother's iPad off of her desk at work at Windsor Regional Hospital, I hope you enjoy looking at all the pictures of our daughter, her grand daughter, on it. Have a conscience and turn it back in. No consequences or questions asked just drop it with security at the hospital.
