Thank you for making things right!

To the wonderful OB nurse in the clinic today with dark blue scrubs and short hair and glasses at Met Hospital, you have been spotted!!! Thank you so much for everything you did to help make me feel better when there was a major mix up in my paperwork. You even went so far as to call my Dr and set me up the proper appointment so I wouldn't have to wait even longer. You are a wonderful woman. Thank you!!!

Signed,
The very thankful upset mother

Thank you ever so much for making me take time off work....

To the rude receptionist at Pilette Village Walk In Clinic, YOU HAVE BEEN SPOTTED! I specifically took time off work to go to an OB appointment with my Doctor I specifically requested to be referred to ( I even sat down with my Family Doctor as he wrote the referral!) Only to find that I had an appointment with a different Doctor! When I called the Office obviously upset and wanting answers you refused to admit that you had made a mistake and told me that I was "being disrespectful" when I said your Office needed to work on their communication skills. In my mind it would make sense to ask where the referral is going to, rather than make an assumption, but I guess that's just me!

Joseph Anthony

To the workers at Joseph Anthony on Tecumseh Road East you have been spotted. I believe it was the owner I dealt with today when I went in there to sell some jewellery. He was so honest with me when he said "you will get more
money for the jewellery if you sell it privately". I was surprised at his honesty as he said "I'm here to make money not rip people off". I will definitely be buying jewellery there the next time I am looking for something! Thanks for being so honest!

Set of keys found on the sidewalk near Lillian and Giles st e. Probably a teens set of keys. Probably a good idea if the person who lost it could describe it do it goes to the rightful owner.

Lock your doors

My hubby went to school leaving the driveway empty. A few hours later a man tried to open the front door. I only saw his shoe and pants and his right elbow as he turned and left to the front of the duplex that I live on the side of. Seriously, worst nightmare if the door was open. I have two babies at home.

LOCK YOUR DOORS EVEN IF YOU ARE AT HOME!!

Unprofessional

To the paramedic who took me to the hospital in the middle of the night, I really hope you see this. After explaining to you my current health situation, combined with the fact I am going for surgery next week and just had my pre-op appt, you, upon commencing to insert an IV noticed a mark on my arm from a needle. You quickly jumped to the conclusion that I must be an IV drug user, as when you saw the mark, you firmly grabbed my arm, and in a rude, presumptuous tone asked me what it was from, never mind the fact it was blatantly obvious at that point you were also conducting yourself in a mannerism acting like my mother, and treating me like a 3 year old, thinking you caught me in something, despite the fact I am considerably older than you. You reasonably should have known that someone who just informed you they had a pre-op assessment would have had blood work at this appointment. It amazes me that upon entering the hospital, and waiting to speak to someone at triage who directed you elsewhere, you made a comment to me about how you didn't like being treated like a child, etc etc, yet you had just treated me in this same manner. In your 7 years of being a paramedic, it astonishes me that you treat people the way you do. You have been spotted for your unprofessionalism, and your superior, condescending attitude.

I wasn't texting, buddy...

On my way way to work I was stopped at the Riverdale light at Riverside Drive. I was looking down as a car drove past me and slowed down enough to yell, "That's illegal!" It startled me but I just ignored it. After I started moving I thought it was odd... the guy seemed to be directing his comment at me. Then it occurred to me why he did it: I was looking down, wondering how the heck I scratched both lenses of my sunglasses and the guy obviously assumed I was texting. I thought he was presumptuous and a tad rude, but maybe trying to be a good citizen. Either way, I have a very hard time texting without having to operate a car and besides, I wouldn't do it anyway. It's illegal and dangerous.
