Coming out of the Wendy's drive thru on Tuesday night around 9pm I was approaching the lights on Huron Church and a guy on a bike went through the stop sign in front of the Wendy's and almost hit my car. I slammed my breaks on and stopped to allow him to pass in front of me (though I had the right away and he should have been more aware, afterall it was dark, he was on a bike and I didn't have to stop) The guy went around the front of my car and turned towards my passenger side. I put my passenger window down to actually apologize and he yelled at me, and proceeded to purposely use the side of his handle bar to scratch the side of my brand new 2014 car. I don't know why people these days are so arrogant, so rude and feel the need to take things out on others. I'm happy for my own sake that I didn't hit you (as I'm sure there would have been a BIGGER ding in my car) but I do hope that you got a flat tire somehow on your way home and had to walk in the cold. My $1.89 Wendy's burger just turned into a few hundred dollars of paint and touch up,, thanks alot to the JERK on the bike

October 20 I spent the majority of my day at evergreen laundromat next to maestros pizza. Today October 21 i have realized I'm missing my wedding band. I figured after retracing my steps it must have came off in the process of doing my laundry. The price of this ring is not much but The sentimental value is priceless. I returned to the laundromat today but I could not find anything and a lot of the machines I used were being used by others. I'm asking if anyone goes here please keep an eye out ! It is a small silver wedding band with diamonds around half .

At 4:05 p.m. today, a beautiful white American Bulldog ran across Walker Road into the Fox & Fiddle Restaurant (I believe it's called) ... he seemed young and really happy that he "escaped". I couldn't stop and get him in my car because there was so much traffic. He narrowly missed being hit. If you know whose dog this is, sorry but this is all the info I have for the vicinity. I hope he'll be okay and be found.

A PURSE SNATCHER - PLEASE SHARE

Don't turn your back on your purses girls. A senior at Shoppers (Tecumseh E & Banwell) got her purse lifted from her shopping cart. I found the cell phone 2 blocks east on the sidewalk. Managed to contact and return it but learned of her theft. Purse, cash, credit cards and I.D. still missing. Reported to Windsor Police & OPP! Suspect on camera not ID yet.

My baby Luna got out yesterday, she is a black long haired cat she also has a brown undercoat and can sometimes look brown in the light. She is small for her age about 4 and a half years old weighing about 6 pounds. She has bright green eyes and will respond when called. She got out in the roseville gardens area east Windsor. She is an indoor cat that has never been outside before. Please if you have any info comment on the post and I will see it!

Today I was sitting at the Tecumseh Urgent Care waiting to see a doctor & there were about 4 people ahead of me, well the nurse working the front desk must not know how to bring people in within the order they come in because there were people being brought in who came in 20 mins after me, she come out and calls 2 names (finally someone who was in before me a mother and daughter) well 4 people walk in, and she brings the 2 into a room then turns around confused, as 2 other people were standing behind her, she asked if she could help them and she stated her name, well it happened that there were 2 people in the waiting room with the same names, so rather than sending the people back out into the waiting room to wait theor turns, she brings them in and gives them a room. What the hell is the point in having a list to bring people in an order if you're not going to follow it, I've been here almost an hour now, the other 2 ahead of me I don't even know how long and she still brings in newer patients before ones she leaves waiting, so lady you've been spotted for your poor judgment and I hope you see this. Follow the list, that'd what it's there for.

I just wanted to warn people of a speaker scam going on in Windsor. Yesterday my brother was approached by two individual (a girl and boy in mid twenties) in a white SUV. They claimed to have speakers for sale that are worth $3200 dollars for $500 . The claimed to be working with a company that had an extra shipment of 3 Orumrohn r 15 speakers and that their employer doesn't know and there selling them cheap. My brother didn't think anything of it because they had brochures and and when he scanned the bar code with his phone it took him to a website which confirmed what they said. So he went ahead and bought them. When I saw them and searched on the product, it turned out to be a scam that has been going on even in California and the speakers are cheap speakers in a fake box.

So i just wanted to warn people so they don't get ripped off like my brother below is a link with more info on a white van speaker scam.
