I went to Devonshire mall yesterday to return something before work. I was only in there for about 10 min. When I returned to my car , I realized I hadn't had my phone with me . I frantically looked around for it around the car and back in the mall but didn't spot it. I headed to work to make sure I wasn't late and used the phone to call my son. He told me a nice gentleman had found my phone and was finishing his lunch and dropping it off at the front desk of my work. I just want to say thanks to the wonderful man for picking up my phone and going out of your way to return it to me. Thank you thank you !

Yesterday was my 88 yr old veteran grandfather's funeral. (Wilf Renaud - there was an article on him in the paper). NUMEROUS times, vehicles cut in front of the lead car, causing the entire procession to have to stop at red lights. Meanwhile my mother in law was mourning so hardly we thought she'd have a nervous breakdown. I am sickened by the lack of total disregard by these people. I spoke to the funeral home and suggested the lead cars needs to either have dash cams, or take a pic of the liscense plate of these idiots. They need to be fined for being so ignorant!!!

the other day my mom picked up her new wig and decided to wear it into Walmart just to try it. While we were in the parking lot walking to the entrace my mom asked me if her wig looked real and I said yes, but as soon as my mom said wig this lady started staring at my moms head and just kept staring at us untill we got to the front door. I would like to say to the lady who shared that you doing that was totally uncalled for! because of you my morther was insecure about how she looked the whole time we were in store! it's none of your business if my moms hair is real or not!

If anyone in the Ottawa St. area finds a pair of pink, large rectangular prescription glasses in a white Guess case, could you please contact me. My car was broken into and they took my lunch bag from work. Didn't get a whole lot but I just got my glasses and can't get another pair for two years with my coverage. Thanks!

To the wonderful lady at McDonald's last Monday. Things were pretty stressed at our house, so much so, that I said I'd take the kids to McDonald's to thank them for putting up with all the craziness. We got there with limited time and the kids immediately zoomed off to the Playland while I put in our order...and realized I had forgotten my wallet at home. There was no way I could pry the kids out of the Playland, get them into their winter clothes and home and back again before we ran out of time. I told the young girl behind the counter that I would go see what money I had in the car. I came back with $10 in change, madly prioritizing what to order...only to see that the girl had put our order through and it was all sitting there waiting for me. The lady behind me in line saw what was going on and, over my protests, chipped in the remaining $4. "Don't worry about it. It happens to all of us." It was -- without a doubt -- the nicest thing a stranger has ever done for me. And that was why I was crying in the McDonald's Playland.

Today I was a witness to such ignorance. I was at WRH Met Campus Endoscopy unit (they had no part of this). As I was waiting for my husband there was an older lady and man discussing politics which turned to offensive Judgements. As per your comment regarding that once you are on assisted living, you amount to nothing. Let me tell you something I was on Mother's allowance in my younger years and guess what I didn't stay on this and abuse the system. Your words were once someone gets on the system they just keep sucking from the system and never get off. Well here is a newsflash for you I did and I work in a professional establishment. Then you made a very harsh comment about all the Muslims should go back to their own country you are working to pay their way here. That was a very cruel thing to say. I know many Muslims and they work really hard to provide for their families. Then you proceeded to say that they have more then one family living in a home and collecting baby bonus and that's why they can buy expensive cars. Not all Muslims are on social assistance some work even as doctors who help save our lives. Maybe next time you are in a health crisis think of that first before judging someone. Then you proceeded to say that black people and whites shouldn't have children together. Your reason was because it isn't fair to the children and they wouldn't know what culture to choose. I was shocked to hear such racism today especially in 2015. In any race there are good people and bad but that doesn't give you the right to judge anyone. It made me really sad to hear this today. As I walked out I made sure you head me and I said "I dislike racist people, racism needs to end".

This is disgusting and uncalled for.
