To the guy packing peoples carts at costco early this afternoon with longer hair tied in a pony tail. You better get working on that hair of yours like we previously discussed. I spotted you today amongest the chaotic crowd there. I wish I knew your name. Happy Easter!

A big shout it to the men and women of Windsor Police Service! They were packing groceries in a very busy Superstore today! Wanted to highlight their good deeds as we tend to focus on the bad apples too often!
Grey and white husky wearing brown or black collar was found in my back yard on Chandler Road this morning around 9am. Tried to get near it with cookies. Dog spooked and darted across the street and was last seen running towards Ypres turned in the direction of Central Ave.
Hope this baby finds its way home

Diane Schertzer-Quick was a beautiful and caring woman who recently lost her battle. One of Diane's wishes was that people would make blood donations in her memory. We are organizing an event to do just that!
During the week of April 14-18th, please make an appointment to donate blood in Windsor. There are also mobile clinics available for Harrow and Amherstburg. Make sure to sign the cards that are at each event in memory of Diane! Afterwards please come back to this event and share with the group that you've donated to help inspire others. We also encourage donations in your local city if you cannot attend any of the events scheduled in Windsor, Harrow or Amherstburg. Let's come together and make Diane proud! Please visit the Facebook event and review the two flyers saved as photos for further donation information.

HI My name is Joli and I write this note as a Mom of a beautiful 11 year old girl. My daughter Ryli has been doing so much for others in her community for the past few years. For her 10th birthday she donated over $600 worth of toys, gift cards & crafts for the children at the Met Campus Ped. Oncology Unit. Then this past December she raised $630 to buy 500 reusable bags for an annual turkey drive & also donated food and money to Street Help. She raised this money by making bracelts and selling to so many. This January Ryli decided that she once again wanted to do something more. For this coming Christmas she wants to buy 500 reusable bags for an annual turkey drive and also wants to buy 500 cookies too as she says everyone deserves a treat for Christmas. So her idea was to make knitted hats and sell to raise the money. I am proud to say shes doing an amazing job knitting all the time and becoming quite creative. Shes already raised 1/ 3 of her goal, thanks so much to so many kind hearted people! She is an inspiration to all. I write on here in hopes that if anyone would like to purchase a hat or knows of anyone that is willing to donate wool to Ryli we would be so appreciative & I too also hope more kids will be inspired to do good for others! I would like to share a little quote that my daughter made ~~~Be the change, set an example for all kids to follow... Ryli M. The contact email is rylishatsforachange@hotmail.com
So yesterday while at work I had to go buy some supplies.(I work in the Devonshire mall) So I went into target just to see if they had any windex left. I was beyond horrified. The look of sheer defeat written across the employees faces as they tried despreatly to sort and make some semblance of order out of the Disaster that the people of windsor and surrounding area have left. Yes you the shopper have torn apart this store and completely trashed it and I am completely Disgusted with this city.
What is the purpose of destroying the make up and writing on the walls. Why throw everything everywhere.
Just because a company couldn't make it here does not give you the right to Destroy a store. As it is the employees are losing their jobs then you do this. it's not thier fault as the basic employees we have no say in what is brought in or prices. the company screwed up not the employee. alas we as a community Screwed up too. We shop cheaper we also shop stateside. Stores fail because we don't spend our money there. So again I ask why destroy them. my heart breaks for the employees of target.
As a retail employee I have watched you come into the stores I've worked at and watch you toss clothing all over the place and I always wanted to know is this what you do at home? Why should I have to go around and clean your trash up and spills then refold every article of clothing. Why should you dump a pile of clothing on the cash because you miss read the sign and you no longer want the items because apparently $7.00 for a pair of pants is too much. Ps watch your children it is not my job to tell your children not to play with glass items or any items and don't look at me like im crazy when they break it and I tell you. you have to pay for the item. When did we become a society that cares about no one but ourselves. When did we start teaching our children that it's OK to destroy stuff and take no responsibility for our acctions when did we become a society of inconsiderate jerks. :'(
Target and all other businesses that put up with all these people on a daily basis I feel your pain and if I ever ever did anything to make your job harder im sorry.
