Recently, we had to evict some people from our rental property because they had come to believe that payment of rent was optional, and that they could dictate to us how much, and when they would pay the rent. ANYWAY, upon their leaving, we went into the home to begin the massive cleanup in order to sell it, and we discovered that these low life's had left their cat there, with no food, water or litter box. This is a woman who is an animal lover. She has 4 Min Pin dogs, and makes a living selling animal art paintings she creates. She has a YouTube video of how beautiful this cat in, and how well it gets along with her dogs. She claimed on her Facebook that the cat is a "rescue". Just so you know, I have reported you with all the info I have on you to the Humaine Society and the SPCA!! Shame on you!! As for Whiskers, we are trying to find her a nice place to live. We can't keep as 2 of my 4 kids have severe allergies to cat dander.....or I'd keep her in a heartbeat!!! Attached I have posted a video we took of this beautiful girl!!!

Quick Thinking Saves a Life!

A huge pat on the back goes to the owners of Ristorante Avanti (Hall/ Ottawa). This past week, a fellow patron began to choke during the dinner service. It soon became obvious that the situation was serious. Thanks to the quick thinking of one of the owners, Dan, the woman was able to walk out of the restaurant, a little sore but alive and well. Way to go, sir! You can now add 'hero' to your list of accomplishments!

Reporting Abuse

To all the Spotted posters that are reporting animal abuse of any kind. Spotting the person on this website in hopes they may see this does not mean you shouldn't report them at that time.
It just means you saw and did nothing about it.
A dog left in a vehicle or being kicked and beaten should be reported to the Humane Society or Police ASAP. Just because you are getting it off your chest and saying 'next time I will report you' doesn't mean a thing. In the end the animal is still in the possession on the owner but now behind closed doors. Animal abuses don't think to themselves I should come on Spotted to see if anyone sae me.
Do the right thing and report it immediately. Even if you remain anonymous.
Shame on you if your only action is to write on a website and not help stop abuse.

Dog found- Fountain Blue

This adorable boy was found at my neighbors fence. She backs onto Rivard Park. The dog is male, not neutered, young (not a pup though), and he may belong to an elderly lady who frequently walks the path around Rivard Park in the Fountain Blue neighborhood!! Please comment if you know who this buddy belongs to!
