Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
I was pulled off to the side of the road just not to far off from the Kingsville exit heading to Windsor when I had to put air in my tire.. a blue pick up pulled up behind me and 2 men and a lady came over to see if I needed any assistance. What a kind gesture and how thoughtful, You have been spotted and a huge thank you. It is nice to see strangers coming the aid of others..
Captured this unedited pic yesterday while at seacliff park wanted to share with everyone :)
SPOTTED: Blue budgie (parakeet) in cart corral at Food Basics on Lauzon Rd and Tecumseh Rd. PLEASE SHARE so this most likely terrified bird can be reunited with his/ her most likely heartbroken owner!
Note: I just drew a blue budgie- markings are not necessarily representative of the bird that was seen by my mother at Food Basics. I just wanted to include an image to increase the viewings and therefore likelihood that this pet will be reunited with his or her owner. :)
Found: Orange and white cat
unsure of gender
Very friendly
loves head rubs and being pet, rolls over on belly
Showed up a few nights ago and hasn't left

My son broke his Tibia on Thursday, July 16th, and on our way home from the hospital at 3:00am we stopped so he could use the McDonald's washroom on Drouillard and Tecumseh. A truck full of young men were also heading into the McDonald's. Not only were they sharing kind words of encouagment to him while holding the doors for us but, seeing my son's frustration with me telling him to use the women's washroom so I could help him, they generously assisted him into the bathroom and encourageed him to use a stall so he was more comfortable and caught him when he slipped and almost fell on the slippery floor, and then helped back out of the washroom. I'm so happy to see that some of the younger generation (in their 20's) are willing to go out of their way to be so kind and helpful. Thank you so much.
BUYERS BEWARE!!
Posted my wedding dress on kijiji and got a text only seconds later from a number in Texas.
Wanting to buy the dress and have me ship it to Florida for his niece. Willing to pay an extra $100 just for shipping.
He told me to make a paypal account so he can send me the money.
This did not sit right with me so I googled his number and sure enough it was know for fraud from many people on Craig's list.
What he does is gets you to sign up, send you a "conformation email" stating the money was sent and how to get it out.
In the email it sends you a link in the asking you to put your bank info, in order to receive the money.
This is a fake confirmation email. Once your information is in BOOM, your account are drained.
Here is the number 832-569-3260
Also had a scam email from alex.williams@gmail.com
Please please be careful.
This morning at the traffic light at Provincial and Cabana, some moron in a pickup unloaded a pile of plywood and a pail of drywall glue on the pavement in the middle of an intersection. When he realized he lost his load, he stopped dead centre in that intersection to pick up the mess. Don't you secure the stuff on your truck before you start driving again? Smell the coffee dude!
