P.A.S.S STAFF

This is long overdue , I graduated from P.A.S.S just over a year ago. The Cameron & University location. I did not know about spotted at the time or else I would of posted this then. I would like to show appreciation to the teachers & staff there, they are most wonderful people that I have ever met, they are more like a family. Every single one of the staff members that work there encourage their students, guide them on what paths they would need to take for their future & help them with any problem that they have even if it's a personal problem. They always have such positive attitudes & it's such a welcoming environment to study in. I've made such great friendships with the teachers there & I do truly miss them, they made coming to school everyday something I actually looked forward to doing. I hope someone shows them this post because they TOTES deserve this recognition!!
I miss all of you!!

Irresponsible Dog Owner

To the lady in the navy blue dress with the hat who had two dogs in Leamington Marina Park last Sunday afternoon around 5:00 p.m. who let her dogs lie on the picnic table showed poor dog ownership. You let your dogs slobber and lick the picnic table cover. This particular table is used very often by a group of people that play checkers and just visit. After a senior went over to you to tell you to take your dogs off the table, you just treated him like he was wrong asking you to remove her dogs. She told him she did not like her dogs laying on the grass.

I just want to let you know that shortly after you left with your dogs, a grandfather with two young boys came along to enjoy their take-out lunch. They did not have a tablecloth and just ate their lunch the whole time the boys were touching the checker board top exactly where your dogs licked.

Just think someday those boys may be your grandchildren and the previous person at a picnic table may have had their dogs licking all over it. How disgusting. Take ownership and refrain from letting your dogs lie where you know they do not belong. Do you allow them to lie on your dining room or kitchen table, probably not, but the way you acted maybe you do.

Moving moment

I would like to spot the young man on Walker Road who stopped walking in the middle of the road for a funeral procession on Tuesday. He took off his hat and placed it against his chest, and waited for a long line of cars to pass before he crossed. That was such a moving and respectful moment. Thank you.

irresponsible dog owners

To the jerk in the reddish tshirt at holburn park who thought he could follow me home to intimidate me - you were WRONG!!! While out walking my dog tonight i along with every other walker at the park saw how you along with 3 other adults and a kid played on the swings, doing your own while your dog was off leash far from you. THIS IS NOT A DOG PARK and there are leash laws for a reason! This is not fair to others trying to enjoy the park. I would say something again if i saw your dog off its leash. You have no control over your animal REGARDLESS of how trained you think they are when they are not leashed.
Almost daily we come across people who feel their dogs don't need a leash - well you are being irresponsible. Take them to a dog park and keep in mind even those have rules that need to be followed. It's people like you that let your dogs wander and leave their business in other people's yards or even the park without cleaning it up.
My dog is ALWAYS leashed when in public. She is not aggressive or a threat to others, she is well trained but I would never chance it. She has been attacked by an UNleashed dog before. Next time i find you following me i am going to dial 911 and report it!

Today my son was in an accident on Tecumseh Road East. A lovely lady named Peggy stopped in the middle of the road to let my son know she witnessed the accident . She gave him her phone number if the Police needed a witness account. It was greatly appreciated and made things a lot easier. Thanks for offering your support. You have been SPOTTED.

Seeking help in hit and run

Hey friends! I'm looking for some help in solving a hit and run that occurred this morning, although I think it might be a futile endeavour.....
At 4:45am, my boss was driving northbound on Lauzon Parkway, headed towards county road 42, in a dark blue van with US plates and his company's name on it in white letters. People familiar with this two lane stretch of road know that the left lane proceeds straight normally, while the right lane ends just past the top of the hill, forcing traffic to merge left. (Which of course means that all of the reckless, idiot drivers out there love to jam on the gas and drag race in an attempt to pass as many cars as possible before being forced to merge left.)
My boss was driving the speed limit in the left lane, and a transport truck decided to speed up (my boss estimated the truck was going at least 100km/ hr to catch up to and pass him on the right like that), and proceeded to pass him dangerously on the right side at the last moments before the lane ended. However, he was not clear of my boss' van when he merged. The van was therefore smashed, scraped, and dented in on the front passenger side, just before the wheel well. The damage was caused by the rear left corner of this truck. My boss was shocked, slammed on the breaks, and looked to drive over to the right shoulder to assess the damage, but had to wait for four other cars in the right lane to go by him as the lane ended before he could do so. I'm hoping that one of these cars witnessed something, and could be tracked down to perhaps provide more information. My boss described the cab of the truck as newer, well kept, and white, while the trailer it was pulling was dingy, dirty, had some rust, and was also white. In the panic of the situation, and the dark of the wee hours, he could not make out the license plate, or any names on the truck, but after he pulled over, he watched in the distance and saw this truck turn left onto county road 42. No one stopped to make sure my boss was okay, or offer any assistance. Luckily, he is fine, but he is pretty upset to have this happen to his van, as he's had it less than 2 months, and to have the driver be so reckless and then tear off like that without taking any responsibility. The dark blue paint from my employer's van will be on the rear left corner of this truck.
If you or someone you know was on Lauzon pkwy at 4:45 am and may have seen something that could help us, please post below, or contact me privately. Thanks!
