HELLO,
we have a friend who attended a bridal shower on Sun Aug 23rd 2015 and lost her gold ring. The shower was at Caboto Club (we were in the Windsor Hall but it could be anywhere around there) It was gold with an embossed pattern of vine leaves (grape leaves or maple leaves) on it. It's very important to our friend and we would appreciate any information on it's whereabouts. Please contact us if you find it. email nickees_chickee@yahoo.com
Well yesterday at about 630 pm or so my daughter and I went to Costco. As we went to get our cart I noticed in the cart that it was linked to a set of fobs with one key attached to it. I returned it to the service desk and I hope who ever lost them gets them.back! I know it is a fortune to replace them!! So if your the one looking for them.go to Costco! ! & #128515;
Sitting in line at Tim Hortons this morning on Lauzon and Wyandotte....when I pulled up to pay, the officer in front of me bought my steeped tea! How nice is that? Brought a smile and bright moment to my day! Thank you!
Bike theft has become a major issue in Windsor. There are many people who rely on their bikes as their only means of transportation. There is a facebook page called Stolen Bikes of Windsor where people post photos and information about their stolen bikes as a means of getting the word out there and hopefully recovering their property. Recently someone posted the photos in the link below and we have had no luck identifying the man. Does anyone know who this is? We need to report this to the police..

Went to Shoppers after work. Wallet got stolen. Mall security was awesome, but didn't find it....get home and start cancelling stuff, and get a phone call from "Justin" who found my wallet in the parking lot, and had already been to my house to return it while I was searching with Mall Security.
The cash is gone but so what...everything else is still in there!
THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE STILL!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Oliver Swainson and Bob Hodge must be recognized as heroes. These individuals saw a problem in Windsor and took action. They have formed a Facebook group to help prevent/ recover stolen bicycles. Rather than hoping someone else solved this ongoing problem, they jumped in and said "We can make a difference." Through word of mouth, FB traffic and a recent segment on the local news, 'Stolen Bikes of Windsor' has grown to almost 1000 members. These gentleman have accomplished this in a focused and respectful manner. Oliver & Bob's efforts have been noticed by the WPS culminating in a face to face meeting.
They are admirable examples of everyday citizens making a difference. Good on you, gents!
on Tuesday I stopped at seven eleven to get gas and my kids a treat. When I relized I had forgot my wallet . Then I went to start my truck and it would not start. We asked a few people to help me and no one had time. So now I have two upset children no help. About ten minutes went by and a nice lady came and asked if I needed help. I told her my whole story and she said let me grab my stuff and I will help. She returned quickly with two bags . She said here is a bag for each child so if you want to get the kids settled I will boost your truck.She pulled her truck over and put the cables on and started my truck. I thanked her so much and she walked away. After I thought I should had got her name . I do remember seeing the back window as she pulled away and it said Momma Sue on it. So Momma Sue you have been spotted for being so kind to myself and my two children. I could not help but notice your big smile as you helped us. I hope someone pays it forward to help you. Thank Kathy
