Someone stole my sons brand new Rawlings scooter that he got for his birthday last week. They stole it from my front lawn. Please we need it back as he got it for his birthday and is devastated. We can't afford a new one. We live on Ellrose avenue and lately haven't been able to leave anything outside as people think it's a free for all. Thank you.
On Saturday August 22nd I lost my wedding band at either the beach in Belle River or the splash pad next door. It fell out of my back pocket. It is a thin 18k white gold band with small diamonds half way around the band. If found please contact me at 519-259-3432.
Today while at the corn fest my son became scared while in one of the rides....when suddenly a little young many (4 or 5 yrs old ) took him by the hand and helped him to finish his trek thru the maze...I wanted to say thanks to you for showing my son (whos 3 ) that there is good people in the world who look out for one another and help each other out...you my young friend have been spotted for teaching my son this good lesson that all children need to learn...to think of others before you think of yourself
I was at a drum circle in Jackson Park today and I lost my antique white gold wedding band. It has 6 small diamonds and is curved as it fits into my engagement ring. It is very modest but is from a family member who has passed and has special meaning of course. Thanks
So last night we took our boys ages 6 and 3 to the Corn Festival, they went on rides and then played games. The boys each wanted something from two different games so my husband asked the carnie at two different games what he would have to pay (to basically buy these things out right) to be sure each of our boys got what they wanted. My 6 year old wanted a Minecraft toy we were told the cost would be $10.00 to guarantee he'd get it and my husband agreed. So my oldest played his game and wouldn't have won but he did because we paid out right, he got his minecraft toy and was happy.
Now let's go to the game my youngest choose......
He wanted a stuffed Minion (and the guy knew that) the guy told my husband for $10.00 he will guarantee him a prize from the wall (so again my husband agrees to it knowing that our little one will get his minion which was on the wall and also would be happy)
When he was done playing the game the jerk carnie proceeds to tell us we can pick from this tiny crap piece section of the lower wall with garbage stuffed animals. Now we have a very unhappy and disappointed 3 year old crying because he didn't get his stuffed minion with a heartless carnie standing there watching this all unfold with no emotion or apology . This is what we got for 10.00.....
A garbage Santa Claus with a missing bow on his boot.
While I was as angry about it as my husband was I kept it under control because the boys were there. My husband on the other hand told the creep exactly what he needed to hear. This jerk should have told us that the minion was not included and we wouldn't have wasted $10.00 playing his game to win a dollarama toy.
JERK!!!!
This afternoon my girlfriend and I took our 5 kids to Mcdonald's playland on Manning Road. This playland does not offer seating in the actual playroom, so my friend and I sat at a table while our 3 eldest played. A 2 yr old and twin 4 yr olds. They played for about an hr, we checked in the room every few minutes. All of a sudden we could heard loud cursing so we ran over to find 4 teenage boys climbing up and down the slide and cursing at the top of their lungs. An older lady had already gone in and asked they to play nice. I went in and told the boys that the age limit is only 2-10!! I was so mad, the little ones were all scared and upset. I made the boys leave and I followed them outside where they got on their bikes, I told them that behaviour is unacceptable. So nice lady who got in the room to help ty! And to the 4 teenages in playland, SHAME on you for going somewhere you are not allowed and swearing and screaming at little kids! Go home and stay there until you learn some manners!!
I had been shopping for a NEW car. Went to a couple of different kinds and in the end I choose a Chevy Trax. This my FIRST car in my life and the place I choose was Gus Revenberg. I will tell you from the moment my foot hit the lot I was greeted by Steve (last names I didn't get). he was busy with a customer but made sure someone came out and that someone was Wayne!!! He took his time with and I promised him I would wait till he came back after a couple days off to finish the deal with him. I returned on Monday to take a few out on a test drive and that is when Michael helped me out . I drove the Cruze and the Trax . It was close to quitting time but the time was not looked at . Michael then need some questions answered and that is where Jordan came in . This was so overwhelming for me but EACH ONE was so patience with me. On Thursday I went back and Wayne was in and I sealed the deal!!!
I then had to go to the see if I can get approved and that were Katie came in . She made me feel so calm and went through everything with a fine tooth comb. I can not say ENOUGH how they ALL made me feel like FAMILY . Yes they are sales people I work in Retail and they made me feel like I hope I make my customers feel. Happy and WELL taking CARE of.
So to GUS REVENBERG you have a GREAT TEAM and I mean TEAM. They watch out for each other and their customers too.
To Wayne , Katie, Steve ,Michael and Jordan THANK YOU from the bottom of my Heart. You made me at ease and I was sent off with a Hug and a Kiss on the cheek. To Windsor out there if you are in need of a car ,truck or van you HAVE to check them out you will not be disappointed .
THANK YOU TEAM GUS YOU ALL ROCK!!!!!
I was just at family fruit market on Mercer and wyandotte. This store is amazing! They have great produce, great prices and very friendly staff.
A somalian man was in there before me. He was headed towards wyandotte. He's about 6'4"
He paid for a $2.59 item with a $100 bill. Lady asked if he had smaller. He said now, so she took it andgave him change. He then proceeds to the $1 bin near the front of the store, and steals a $1 bag of peppers. Really!? What a low life! i hope you're happy andbthey were worth it, because they now know what you look like and who you are. I just had to share as this angered me! Stores, be on the look out. I hope it doesn't happen to these guys again, because I like this store.
