Red Lobster's serving up more then food

Tonight was date night, my brother in-law was in the mood for sea food and all eight of is decided to stand by him and the long 90 minute wait for a table to enjoy endless shrimp at Red Lobster (most of us are not sea food eaters and have never been to Red Lobster). Once we finally got seated, Michelle and Lisa, the best waitresses in all of Windsor (as nominated by me) made the wait worth while! Their whit and humour were beyond words, we have never laughed this hard in a public space. Michelle and Lisa were more then great waitresses they were great entertainers, it was like being at a diner show. The food was OK, but the over the top attention and character that Michelle and Lisa put into the night made it very memorable! Thanks ladies!

Metro Birthday Cake Gentleman!!

This morning (Sat. Sept. 12th) about 10:45 a.m., I was in line to check out at Central Mall's Metro with my groceries and there was a gentleman with a younger boy carrying a birthday cake. I had a buggy full and invited you to go ahead of me... you did with much thanks and to my great surprise, you insisted on emptying my groceries onto the cashier counter. What a wonderful feeling that was !! Thank you very much again, a fabulous thing to teach a young boy of kindness and generosity !!

To a Heartless Thief

My black bag with my purse inside was stolen from the back seat of my F150 pick up truck. Saturday September 5th, 2015 when I was out and about in Windsor during broad daylight hours. Was it possible, I didn't lock my doors as I am in a good habit of doing?? Opportunity arose for a heartless thief to take my bag.
I was so devastated!!! Sad, really. The cork purse is the only thing that had sentimental value as my husband bought it for me in Germany. So sad!!! My little family book, along with most of my ID hurt as well. The black bag had mostly cosmetics.
You know who you are and if you are reading this, you are heartless!!!
At the very least, you could have put my ID in the mail box!
I want you to know that you suck, but I still forgive you!!
It took me a while to get over it, but it could have been worse. It sucked really bad though and I'm trying to get all my ID and cards replaced.
Thief, don't you wish you had a heart??
There are you guys out there that we need to watch for, but there are still some great people out there as well!!! The kind that come across a lost wallet and hand it into the authorities, even if it was full of cash.

To all you honest, big hearted people out there . . . keep on paying it forward like you do!! Be blessed!!! Chive On!!!

Rollerblading in dark clothing

To the person rollerblading down Ford Blvd around 830p.m. I'm not sure if you were aware that with your dark clothing you were nearly impossible to see. On top of rollerblading down the middle of the street made it an even more danger task..I sincerely hope you made it home safe and sound, but maybe next time you should reconsider wearing dark clothing while rollerblading at night.
Sincerely a concerned motorist.

POSSIBLE STOLEN BIKE SEEN

Biking down Lincoln, I saw a white male mid-late 20s on what was clearly a young girl's bike. The bike was small, had a dark red/ burgendy colouring and a cheetah print seat. He was tall and skinny with stubble on his chin. Baggy blue shirt and black shorts. Baseball cap turned forward. Hope this helps someone.

Good fast response

On Wednesday morning I was driving my son to school at Herman when he pointed out the huge pothole in the middle of rossini. We were early and there were no stopped cars so I was able to avoid it. But knowing it's a high traffic area and the pothole was deep enough to do damage to the cars that would be forced to hit it when kids were getting dropped off or picked up. I called 311 (for the first time) and spoke to a lovely woman named Ginger. She was very pleasant and took all the information about the pothole and said she would send it in. Well low and behold this morning (friday) I saw the pothole was all filled in. Thank you Ginger and the city of Windsor workers for your fast repair response in the school area.

I've been "keyed" - anyone else?

My Dodge Caravan was badly keyed this week, on all 4 sides, so it was obviously a concentrated effort. The hood was especially heavily damaged. It would have happened either at City Market mid-day Wednesday or in my own driveway on Rivard Avenue. I've just submitted a police report, but was wondering if anyone else has been "keyed" this week?
