Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
So having worked in customer service for about 15 years (Gosh I can't believe I said that out loud !!!lol) I like to mention when I see exemplary service...
For the last 8 weeks I frequent a Mc Donald's on Wyandotte and Pillette....
Here...I always get great service. The staff is friendly. Store is clean and bathrooms are clean.
Behind the counter is a gentleman named Brian. I don't know him. I'm not sure if he's a supervisor, an assistant manager or a manager.
But every week I see him, working hard and I hear staff asking him questions and while doing whatever tasks he is in control of he always stops and happily helps his staff!!!
I sense a great atmosphere of Team Work and Enjoy that this is a consistent thing I see and know I will come to every Monday night while my daughter is in Girl Guides.
Fantastic Service and Excellent Example for the Community!

To the nice couple in a silver van who bought my breakfast this morning at the Tim Hortons on Manning and 42 around 11:30am-- you made my day!! I was having a hectic morning and your kind gesture brought a smile to my face! I will be sure to pay it forward and make someone else's day today! THANK YOU!
On Thursday, November 12, 2015 my mother lost something very precious to her while she was out with her friend. She lost a butterfly pin that was given to her by her mother 40+ years ago. I'm hoping for a miracle that someone has found it!! She was at Ming Wah's Chinese Buffet, Dollarama next door to the buffet, the Salvation Army Bookstore on Lauzon Rd and Campeau's on Tecumseh Rd. Please, if you have found her pin, please, please contact me and I will make arrangements to pick it up. This pin is very important to her and I was heartbroken for her yesterday as I heard her talk about it with tears in her eyes. My email is lisabug711@gmail.com.
Just want to be sure the mom driving in the silver Caravan down Tecumseh Rd knows she was "spotted". More so, because of the fact that she had an infant in an infant seat sitting sideways facing her in the front seat of her van! Really! Also, I tried to pull up next to you to get you to pull over but your cell phone must have been more important as your head was buried in it. As a parent my self, I know a screaming baby is not fun while you're driving, (i'm assuming that's the only reason why you would've done such a thing) but, pullover in a parking lot. Nothing is more important than your baby's safety. And.....STAY OFF YOUR PHONE! (Which also is the only reason I couldn't call the police on you, as I was driving)
To the person who drove by my house and saw my son laying on the ground at 6am thank you for carrying enough to call 911/ LaSalle Police. Luckily I was starting to wake up when the LaSalle Police showed up to make sure everything was fine. Everyone was in the house when the officer showed up and now I will have a lovely file with C.A.S. Thankfully my son is at an age where he is able to have some freedoms and the C.A.S understand that, I hope. However let me add this little P.S.A ---If you are concerned about a child laying outside at night or at 6am when it is cold out stop your run, stop your walk, stop your car and check them out! We have all heard stories of children who are very young sneaking out at night and freezing. If you are concerned enough to call police you should also be willing to help if needed. I am sure your fitness high will still be there or your boss will be understanding that you had to help a child. The 5 to 10 minutes that it takes for EMS or police to show up could mean the difference in life and death to child on a cold night.
