To every single home and business owner in Windsor---please please please shovel your snow, salt your walkways and keep a clear path for your letter carrier!! Maybe you leave out of your garage each day so it doesn't affect you, but shoveling snow is the law---and it is courteous to keep a clear path to your home. Please consider everyone's safety this winter.

Was sent home today due to needing CPR revert...walking through value village this amazing couple over heard me talking to my mom about how I can't go back to work until I have it. This very nice gentleman came up to me and said he teaches CPR classes. He had asked when I need it for, I had told him ASAP. He called his company and got me into his class tonight. Wanted to say.... thank you so much, you had saved me and I greatly appreciate your kindness and generosity.

Boy, you sure taught me a lesson!

Spotted: To the guy that was coming up Ottawa and turned right into the Tim Hortons Drive-Thru. We were waiting for traffic to clear and the truck waiting half on the street and half in the parking lot to move up before we turned left into the parking lot. You just drove up right behind the truck without even noticing us waiting. I flipped you the bird and was waving my hand out the window so upset that someone would cut us off. I even said to my husband you are SPOTTED FOR BEING A JERK! You waved out your window hoping that it fixes the fact that you cut us off and didn t wait your turn. I was so angry and was telling my husband I want to get out of the car and walk up to yours and let you have it, he stopped me. I looked into your vehicle from my passenger side and just noticing you smiling taking your sweet old time at the window sticking your hand out and taking forever to pay for your stuff, it got me even more upset. You finally left and we pulled up. The lady opened the window and the first thing she did was hand us a piece of paper and a small envelope. The paper was folded and it said I didn t see you, I m Sorry. Hope this makes up for it!!
When I was 15 I went to a friend s party and when I was there I was running around with all the other kids but my dress caught onto a nail and it ripped right off me. There I was, standing in my bra and panties in front of my whole class. Even that didn t make me turn red as much as this experience did. I was turning red embarrassed how I acted. You didn t even hear 95% of what I was calling you in my vehicle (unless you can read lips, in which case I am sorry). I am not sure what got me all angry and so quick to judge, I should have taken a deep breath and realized everyone makes mistakes. You left a $20 dollar gift card and our order was only $6. I feel horrible and hope that maybe you see this since we could not see which way you went after we left the drive-thru. I am truly sorry for acting a fool and I hope I didn t scare you with my hand in the air. Obviously you re an awesome person and I should learn to calm down a little and not be so quick to get angry (which I usually do calm down).

Thank You

I did not catch the name of the sales associate that was helping me today, but she was fantastic! I have a party to go to this weekend and was looking for an outfit to wear. After going in almost every store in the mall and being ignored by many sales associates this lady took it upon herself to help me find an entire outfit for this weekend. She suggested tops & pants and shoes for me. She was just what I needed when I wasn't feeling all that pretty. We finally found an outfit, and I'm very excited for this weekend! I don't know her name but she works at maurices at Devonshire mall and has a small tattoo on her wrist. Thank you for your kindness and for making time to help me out today!

Leamington, ON Thursday January 21st, 2016 at 9:22 AM

This past Tuesday, January 19, we were at the Leamington BMO Bank between 12:00 and 1:00. I had my littles with me and my younger one had his blanky along (it goes almost everywhere he goes) but we accidentally left it there. I went back the next day to pick it up, but it was gone and no one in the bank knew where it was or had recalled seeing it. Please, if anyone has seen or or picked it up and took it home, I would LOVE if you could return it! That blanky is THE blanky! It's light blue and white kind of a checkered pattern. There is a corner that quite 'dirty' (stained actually) it's the corner he takes comfort in when he cuddles it. Please please if you've seen it or picked it up, could you return it to the bank. Thank you!

Water Bottles for Flint

I wanted to spot Nathan Sellon with the Windsor Spitfires for collecting water bottles for the people in Flint, Michigan.

I have known Nathan when I attended Lambton College in Sarnia, Ontario and he was always a great guy with a big heart. I just want to recognize him for his Random Act of Kindness.

Once again, thank you to the Windsor Spitfires and every member of the Windsor community. Keep up the great work! :). I enjoy reading your awesome spotted stories.

If anyone wants to donate water, please donate at the WFCU.

From a former Lambton College student

There is a school aged boy , I'd say around 10-12 years old who is constantly asking people for money so "he can take the bus home" . He has approached me or my husband several times in the Freshco, Dollarama plaza on Howard and Tecumseh. ... should police be notified that he's always asking for money? I mean, if he takes the bus, shouldn't he know how much to carry with him, or have a student card ??!!!
