Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
A Couple of days ago I was at Walmart with my mother and we had parked in the handicap spot which my mother had a handicap sign for medical reasons. As we were getting out of our car, a man shouted out from his vehicle as he was passing by "you don't look handicap to me."
And that really frustrated my mom because my mother is fighting stage four cancer and has had numerous surgeries. And she can't walk very long distance. And she has other medical conditions.
So dont judge a person by the way they look(even if they don't look handicap) if you don't know their medical history!
He has been missing from the Little River Acres area since January 17th and his family misses him dearly! This cat is about seven years old. He's an indoor/ outdoor cat, and as much as we've tried to keep him indoors... He was born outdoors and loves to be out there. His right ear is slightly mangled and his left eye is often half-lidded. He's a scruffy fighter. He's neutered. Not declawed. May respond to 'Kitty' or 'Yappers'. Will definitely respond to tongue clicking. Amicable towards humans, not so much towards other animals. We have a poster up at the Humane Society and check their site daily even have been there on the slight chance one of the other poor kitties there was him. Please, any information would be awesome!
This morning, my husband and I were crossing from Devonshire Old Navy section towards the parking lot. We crossed accordingly, through the yellow lines and we proceeded with no cars passing. While we were at the middle about to approach the other side, I noticed a red Caravan driving fast with no intention to stop. She missed us by maybe 3 inches and looked at me and smiled. She was so close to us that if her window was open, I could have grabbed her hair. She was a middle aged lady with wavy dark shoulder length hair. She didn't stop at the Stop sign. She just turned left without even looking if there were other cars (thank God there was not). To that lady, you are lucky it's Lenten Season or else!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the anonymous woman who found my purse in a shopping cart at babies r us today and handed it in to the store. Your honesty is very much appreciated. I am grateful that you found it!
Yesterday I was at a funeral for my moms dear friend of over 50 years. On the way to the cemetery going down Ouellette a red car...not sure of the make...cut in front of us and put it's four ways on like he/ she was in procession, but didn't have the flag on it's car which made me realize that he/ she was not part of the procession. As we proceeded over the over pass he/ she quickly got out and turned left on Eugenie. I just want to say you've been spotted and cannot believe how rude and disrespectful you are...you were in that much of a hurry you could not wait...and besides that we were in the right lane and you ended up turning left! As we proceeded I realized there are really good people out there as a lot of cars pulled over to the side and waited for the whole procession to pass...thank you! I hope you see this and I hope no one ever does this to you when you are grieving a loved one...Karma works in mysterious ways!
Today at the hospital we had no cash and we're trying to pay by credit card. The machine often won't work according the lady behind us who stepped forward to pay it in cash for us. I don't know her name but she works at the hospital. I so appreciate your generosity! We will pay it forward.
On Monday's my mother and I usually workout together in the mornings and we decided to go to the GoodLife by Tecumseh Mall because we have never been to that one before. When we walked in, a male and a female had greeted us with big smiles on their faces, wishing us a good workout and the one girl had noticed we had never been to that GoodLife before so she offered to show us around. We said we would love that and as she was showing us around, I failed to notice that my mothers shoe was untied...so this lovely girl that was showing us around paused in the middle of her sentence and starting tying my mother's shoe. I was so touched with how friendly and down to earth she was. Also when we left, me and my mom felt like we were cared about by everyone who was working there that day. We decided to go to that gym more often, no matter if it is an extra 10 minutes away from where we live...i have never been so happy leaving a gym before! thanks to the GoodLife team for giving me and my mom a rememberable experience.
