Today I was going to the orthopedic clinic. I had to park a distance as that was all that was available. I was walking on my crutches when a young lady and her son drove up and asked if I would like a ride to the door. I thanked her and decided to take the ride. As soon as I sat down her son happily said hi and we talked for a moment as she drove me up to the door. When I returned I walked to the car and she came up and helped me in the car and helped me with my crutches.
It was such a sweet thing for her to do. She did not have to help me both times she could have driven right on by.
I thank you and your son for such kindness it was greatly appreciated.

This morning I got a phone call from a man who found my son's phone. He found it on the road on the east end after he finished work and when he got home in south Windsor he went through it and called me. He drove all the way from there to the east end to deliver it to me. I offered him money for his gas/ time/ and thoughtfulness but he refused. I just want to let you know sir that you have been spotted. It is a rare occasion now a days that an unlocked phone is returned. Thank you kind sir....I didn't get your name but you sir are a gem!!

I saw you. You were in rubber boots today. Your little girl was in rubber boots too. You found a puddle and you jumped in feet first. I thought it was so cute. Then when we were on our way home we saw you again, still outside in the rain. You had your arms outstretch and so did your little girl. You were enjoying the summer rain shower. The song, Singing in the Rain came through my head and my husband and I started singing it. You put a smile on our faces. All because of a little rain. You are an awesome Mom. What a great thing to do with your daughter. Instead of worrying about getting wet, or dirty, you threw caution to the wind to create a memory with your daughter that you will always remember. Your daughter, I hope will remember in days to come how her Mommy took the time to dance in the rain with her. I just wanted to tell you, what an awesome thing I think it was.

Saw this house while on a boat tour and I love it! Who owns?

Hi everyone, I've lost a set of keys with two black key FOB's on it. I'm visiting from the Toronto area for the weekend so I'm really really hoping someone has picked them up. Please let me know if you have seen them :). They were lost on Saturday August 13th, in the morning between riverside and Costco. Thank you for any help!

There was an incident this afternoon involving the police. The incident took place in front of my kids. They were very scared as to what was going on. Patti from the canine unit at the police department went out of her way to speak to my kids about never being afraid of the police and made sure they knew how to call the police. She put them at ease and for that I am thankful. Great job Windsor police.

I want to spot our neighbours in Detroit for creating the Running Man video with the Detroit Police Department. All races come together to dance, sing, and the police department and the community did an amazing job with participation in the community.

WTG Detroit Police. Keep up the great work as well Windsor Police. I think Windsor Police should do a similar video like this as well. I challenge Windsor Police to do a video like this with their own police department.

I have recently been twice to The Body Shop at Devonshire mall. Both times Jodi has helped me with my purchases. She is excellent! Not only does she know her stuff (where product ingredients come from and whats new etc). She really spends the time to get you all set with everything you need including going through a scent test of nearly every shower gel/ lotion lol Great experience shopping there!
