Our family would like to thank the good Samaritan who ran from his car to help my dad as he was getting off the bus in front of his senior building on Rivard Street and being robbed in broad daylight. My father who is 87 was being assaulted and robbed and this was witnessed by the man who then ran after the robber and got my dad's wallet back. Thank you so very much, glad you were there to assist in the catching of this sick individual. Who attacks a elderly gentlemen? My dad was also attacked by the robber yet only charged with robbery, assault should have been a charge against this horrible person. Now my dad's highly concerned and his love to go all over on the bus will not happen. Again thank you so much for leaving your vehicle and chasing down the perpetrator, we appreciate all you have done for our father
As I was Running with my Daughter, I ended up getting really tired and had to walk a bit as I was out of Shape. This lady who was just enjoying the weather and going for a walk at Jackson Park looked at us and said Great Job running Ladies. I had a short conversation telling her I am trying to get into shape cause I do have to lose a few pounds and this is the first time I have been out in a while running. She said well be proud of yourself for doing such a great job, keep up the work. I left feeling way better about myself and I am going to keep pushing myself and trying to run more and more each day. Thanks Nice Lady for the compliment you gave us, you have been Spotted,

Tonight around 8:20 pm I had a young guy ask to be let into my house saying he needed to check something with my water tank. When I told him no, he asked if it was because of my dog ( who was barking). He told me if I didn't let him in, I could take a picture of the tank to show him, or he would just have to come back another time. Obviously I didn't let him in, wondering if anyone else has had this tonight. I live near the mall.
To the "gentleman" in the red minivan on banwell this morning at 10.
You chose to yell in traffic at me (in black jeep) as the light turned green for me to "get off my phone"
Just to inform you I WAS NOT on my phone, I was in thought about something personal, scratching my finger while waiting for light.
You scared the daylights out of me and others around, thinking something was wrong while in busy traffic as I'm ready to set off for the light that JUST turned green.
So mr phone police, maybe you should not yell things you don't know in the middle of traffic almost causing an accident with your "knowledge" while everyone is looking around seeing what is wrong!
You sir are an ignorant a$$ who needs to keep your mouth shut in traffic.
Thank you to the lovely young woman who stopped in her super cute Jeep to see if my family and I needed help with our car. We had been sitting for quite a while and not one other person stopped to see if we were ok. It was hot had my two young children with us. Thanks for trying to give us a boost even though it didn't get our van going, it still meant the world to me that you stopped. Still good people out there! Thanks again :)
