Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
This afternoon while doing a stop at Tim Hortons on Tecumseh West near Huron Line the couple in front of my son and I asked my son what he would like to drink and bought him his orange juice. I will definately pay it forward. You have been spotted for putting a huge smile on my sons face. Thank you for showing him a wonderful act of kindness.
A huge thankyou to the lovely person who witnessed my vehicle getting hit in the parking lot at Zehrs at Manning Road, and left me a note with make, colour and license plate of the vehicle that hit me. Wish I had your name to personally thank you for your kindness. It was very helpful and sweet to take the time to do this for me. Once again thank you.
Nothing spotted, but hoping it is!!!!
Lost on Tuesday evening somewhere in the downtown area, a new White BlackBerry. Has sentimental things on it, & has all kinds of my contacts in it & I dont know them off hand. Please if anyone has found it, please contact me jaglan9@yahoo.ca. Small reward if returned & it hasn't been damaged in any way. Thanks Windsor!!!!
Hey plow truck driver driving on 3500 block of Tecumseh Rd. West at approx 5:45 pm, Tuesday.
Yes, you were spotted clipping the light pole with your plow, causing the light to fall from the top. You can't even claim ignorance because you stopped and looked, watched a car hit the light, then you drove away.
Driving an Amico plow truck so not a city worker and therefore probably didn't report it.
Shabby, shabby work.
I truly don't understand why so many people who are purchasing items from others via various sites like Kijiji and Facebook, show up to purchase an item and DON'T have change. I mean seriously. I'm not a store. I'm a person just like you. Trying to sell an item I no longer need. If you come KNOWING the item is $15. Please don't show up at my door with a $20 bill and ask if I have change. It is just ridiculous. And then, when I tell you that I do not have change, don't get irritated about that fact. Just show up with the amount own. It will make both of our lives much easier.
I just wanted to take the time to thank our "AWESOME" neighbour on Olive rd for snow blowing our driveway while we were away. We had a very stressful drive from Ohio, my husband was dreading coming home to shovel and when we pulled up we were very surprised it was all done. Even though we have not formally met we thank you so much!!
I've read a few posts from this site before about people performing random acts of kindness but today I found myself (quite unexpectedly) on the receiving end!
I just wanted to say a big "Thank You!!" to the gentleman in the red mini-van ahead of me at the McDonald's on Walker Road by Costco who paid for my entire order. It's not like it was a coffee, it was lunch for my 3 children!
I just wanted you to know that I put that $20 back in my purse and set it aside for the next Mom I see at Wal-mart (or the next place I go) that could use it for diapers or the next little child that I see who would really appreciate picking something out for themselves in the toy aisle!
Thanks again for putting a smile on my face and helping me teach my girls the effect one person can have on you with a simple act of selflessness :)
I'm excited to Pay-it-Forward!!
I love this site and often hear great stories. Hoping an honest person found my iPod at goodlife at tecumseh mall or in the parking lot turns it in
