From a Thankful Neighbour

Two weeks ago tonite I came home from pool and as I got off the elevator I noticed water coming from the neighbours door. So I just happen to have my aunts shampooer so I started to help him and also left my standup fan in the hallway all nite to dry the carpet. I woke up to see no fan so I assumed he took it in his apartment. I haven't seen him since and was wondering if he was going to return it with obvious no hurry because of the beautiful weather we've been having...lol so I ask him if I can get my fan back and he said his fan was the only one in the hallway when he got up. So.... Someone scooped my fan. So I continued to take Toby out and we pass again with him leaving the building. 20 mins later I hear a knock at my door and it's my neighbour. He hands me this.... Thanking me for everything I did and for feeling bad about my fan being taken. Well Neighbour... It was my pleasure just for the appreciation alone. Sorry... Had to share because I too was losing hope on humanity and the way society is destroying itself!!!

Windsor Bus Driver

Last night the female bus driver driving the 1a bus #561 at 7pm. I watched as you stopped on Ouellette Avenue and helped an elderly gentlemen with a walker get off the bus. Then you proceeded to walk him across Ouellette to make sure he made it there safely . It's nice to see that some bus drivers take a minute out of there day to help the elderly, I'm sure he appreciated it. It was an awesome thing to see. So to the nice 1a driver you have been spotted

I attended a jr boys basketball game today and by jr I mean grades 4, 5 & 6. It was great enthusiasm that the mothers of the home team were cheering with however when one of the boys from the away team shot at the wrong net you grown women proceeded to point and laugh at him. That is damaging to a childs self esteem especially when he and his teammates saw you do it. Shame on you!!!

Stranger Anonymously Thanking a War Veteran

I am an optometrist in Windsor. Today, a patient of mine showed me this card that he recently found on the windshield of his car. It was placed there by a caring stranger. I wanted to share this as a reminder to thank a veteran whenever you see them. Also, if the person that left him this card reads this, know that you really touched this man. Great job!
