On Saturday April 5th myself, my fiancé and my 4 year old daughter went to the Lone Star Texas Grill. What an experience we had! The wait was about 60 minutes as it was the weekend & dinner time, It's to be expected.
When we walked in the front wait room was packed so we stood by the counter. I have to say I'm beyond impressed with EVERYONE who works there. From the ladies & men at the door, the counter and all the servers. First my daughter got an awesome sticker with her very own cowgirl name, which she loved ! Then they noticed she was getting a bit antsy lol as we had stood there for 15 minutes. They offered and went and got her a cool dough ball to play with. Man did that ever make her day !! She was absolutely thrilled (and played with that the rest of the wait - and all night hahah) Not only does it stop there. They then noticed I was pregnant and offered to go get me a seat to sit down while waiting. I thanked them but my fiancé had just snagged us a seat. As we're waiting for our pager to go off out comes the servers with chips and salsa for everyone !!! I mean really, what restaurant does this.
Shorty after we were brought to our table and had a wonderful waitress too. My daughter loved her and even wanted to give her a hug. We had the fajitas and they were delicious. This is by far my favourite restaurant I've been to in a long time. I would highly recommend it to anyone I could. So glad this restaurant opened in windsor.
To all the staff that was working on the 5th around 5pm-7pm..... YOUR ALL SPOTTED ! Thanks for being so thoughtful, kind and most of all happy :) ! I can't wait to go back and try new things.
