to my 15 year old son. He follows this site everyday and loves to read all about the good things people have been spotted doing. He turned 15 on Dec 17th and decided(after watching a video on Youtube) to perform 15 random acts of kindness, one for every year.

The day after his birthday he took the money he made on his birthday and started to check things off his list.

1.Buy my sister the doll she wanted but never got
2.Ask mom to take me to the drive thru so I can buy someones order behind me
3.Stand outside the mall for an hour and open the door for everyone walking in or out.
4.Adopt a kitten
5.Give my best friend a Xbox points card
6.Clean our garage for my dad while he is at work
7.Help my mom all day with everything she is doing (one day mom)
8.Spend one day with my grandma to help her with anything she needs help with
9.Play with my 5 year old sister for one whole day and do whatever she wants
10.Stand outside Tim Hortons and give out 2 dollar gift cards to each person (10 of them)
11.Buy presents and give them to the fire station for other kids
12.Shovel my neighbors driveway if it snows from now till I start school again
13.Buy some dog food and donate it to whoever is collecting it
14.Hand out hot chocolate till I run out at the dog park where I used to take my dog
15.Donate blankets and pillows to whoever takes them (with the rest of my birthday money)

He actually spent every penny he got for his birthday, and his father and I could not be prouder of him.

So to our 15 year old son, I hope you continue in the same track you are heading.

Love,
Your Parents
