I wish to thank you profoundly for the amazing help you did in securing our seats for Cirque du Soleil. You went out of your way and made sure everything was set up for what we are hoping will be the best surprise birthday possible (& a cross off a bucket list). I have the most amazing next door neighbour. Ernie is 77 years old and has more energy than I can even imagine. He snowplows my walk, the lady's next door and his daughter's across the street. He sweeps my porch, brings my garbage cans in, cuts and trims my lawn for me, hauls things to the dump for me, fixed and painted my front porch and I even caught him on a ladder clearing out my gutters. All this unasked for! I am so thankful for all he does. Ernie, you have been spotted!

Thank you so much to the mysterious customer who paid our lunch bill!! A girlfriend and I were at lunch at the Lumberjack last Thursday Jan. 16, 2014. Our waiter came to tell us he was being sent home due to it being slow because of the snow, and then proceeded to tell us our bill was taken care of. I asked who it was and the person had asked the waiter not to reveal his/ her identity. We didn't finish until the after the lunch rush had left so we couldn't even try to figure out who it was. Wish I would have had the opportunity to thank Mr./ Mrs./ Ms. Anonymous myself. Quite unexpected in this day and age. Thank you for displaying such selflessness and kindness, and I will definitely pay it forward! :D

On Sunday, my fiance and I stopped in at McDonald's for breakfast and while we were in line an older gentleman about 70 years old, struck up a conversation with us. He proceeded to tell us that before he dies he was going to be a famous rapper called "60 cents". As we waited for our food he rapped 2 hilarious songs for us. He apologized for seeming crazy and I jokingly told him not to worry that I lost my mind a long time ago. He then proceeded to tell me that I would make a great teacher. I don't think he realized how much that comment means to me. I'm graduating from the University this year to be a teacher, and we are constantly reminded by professors, parents, advisers...etc that we will NOT get a job and that we might as well start looking for another plan. But him telling me that I would make a great teacher after talking for a short amount of time and without even knowing that, that was my dream profession made my day. It was a nice reminder to push through the negativity and go for my dream Thank you "60 cents" you have been spotted!

To the girl at Walmart today in the produce section who stopped me to tell me my hair looked gorgeous, thank you! What you didn't know was that I just colored it last night and it turned out very wrong and being out shopping was making me very self conscious about it. When i saw you looking at me i didn't expect the compliment! Sounds silly, but you made my day 100% better! Thanks for being kind!
