Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
First of all I want to begin by saying the bus system to downtown fireworks last night was awesome, we were in and out in no time. Great work. Once we returned to our vehicle it was a different story. Our car got broken into and I'm not even upset that they took our sunglasses and coffee change because that's what scum like that do but then I notice that they stole my six year old daughters soccer cleats and her reading books from the back seat. Can you say low life! I hope you get everything you deserve....KARMA!
To the women in the dark van that we saw hit the blue avenger at Tecumseh mall at 9:30am and sped off when we waved that you had hit that vehicle You have been spotted and reported to the police don't worry we may not have gotten our phones out quick enough but we have your plate number and so do the police. Shame on you!!
To the person who stole the white beer logo umbrella from the house on partington between wyandotte and university on Friday night.... We have you on video. This umbrella is owed to a local bar along with the others in the house, it is owned by the company I Rep for.... Return it and I will see to your picture being taken down in all the local bars so you may continue to enjoy their service and hospitality.
To the people at McDonald Parking lot eating all their food and then tossing garbage on the ground, shame on you! Use garbage can, keep our city clean
I will preface this post by saying I so love hearing the wonderful stories of kindness on this site, truly heart warming & restores your faith in humanity. Today wished I could have posted one of those stories. Mine may seem trivial, but I was dismayed to see a dog owner not respect other people and their property. While cooking dinner, I looked out kitchen window to see a gentleman (I use that term loosely) in an orange shirt looking at our lawn (that my Son just mowed).Put a smile on my face & when I looked closer out the window, realized he was on his cell phone while his (rather large) dog did his business on our lawn & he went on his merry way. No doggy bag, no nothing. By the time I got outside, he was at the far end of the block. Shame on you.
I was at Canadian Tire on Walker road during the lunch hour on June 19. A young boy about 3 years old was running around ahead of his mom (who had a baby in the cart). Please, Ma'am, hold his hand. I know he's at a rambunctious age, but he can get hurt. I did ask you to hold his hand in the parking lot; I wanted to stress how dangerous this is. Please don't let him get hurt because it's too hard to handle him . It is your job to keep him safe by controlling him in unsafe areas. You just don't know when a car will back up and he can't see him, not to mention darting into the driving lane.
I witnessed today while leaving the Red Lobster on Tecumseh after a wonderful birthday, a very angry lady driving a dark red car stop her car in the middle of the road, and her out of her car in a rage to the silver car in front of her. That silver car HAD to stop due to the traffic from contruction, and could not move up to stop in the middle of an intersection. You looked like a scary demon yelling at innocent 18 year old drivers while you are clearly a grown woman well into your fourties. You were clearly in the wrong and so ignorant to the situation. Think again
To the group of boys at the bus stop at McDougal and Tecumseh, who were making animal noises to a couple of beautiful girls, one slightly overweight, and one wearing glasses, SHAME ON YOU!
From my point of view, those girls did the right thing in ignoring you, keeping their smiles on their faces and moving away from you animals.
As I see it, one boy was mooing like a cow, I think you need to be out in the pasture, if you moo like a cow, you must be a cow. The other was oinking like a pig, you should be in a sty, if you oink like a pig, you must be a pig. You both sounded like animals, acted like animals, maybe we should treat you like animals.
The girls on the other hand, smiled, talked in English, laughed at each other, and sounded human, they, in my book are ladies.
Learn to respect others, boys, one day, those ladies may be the nurses or doctors you need for medical help, or a lawyer for legal help, or an accountant for financial help. I'll tell you one thing, speaking from experience, you NEVER forget the animals and germs like yourselves, that bully. No one cares, you looked and sounded like absolute fools today.
Ladies, keep smiling, you are both beautiful and unique in your own ways.
