Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
I was riding my motorcycle down Arner TownLine last weekend and the car behind me was directly on my tail (about 2 feet of space between us). I was travelling about 85 km/ hr. (So, over the speed limit!). This is EXTREMELY dangerous for a motorcyclist and is EXTREMELY unnerving. PLEASE people, be respectful of those on bikes, share the road and keep some space. There have been too many motorcycle accidents already this season and they usually occur because motorists aren't respectful of bikes. To the jerk who was behind me...the world doesn't revolve around you!
Just want to say to the yahoos sitting in center field last night at a little league baseball game...REALLY!!!!! How old are you? You are adult enough to know not to threaten 8/ 9/ 10 year olds...It was a playoff game...there was no need to act the way you did. You took the attention away from the game and made it a bad experience for everyone involved...WAY TO GO!!! Just wanted to let you know that you have been spotted!
There is a group of gentlemen in the South Windsor going door to door, insisting they need in your home to see your AC unit. They wave a badge in your face and are very aggressive. When my husband insisted they leave, they began swearing at him. We've reported them but this is a reminder to all homeowners, DON'T LET STRANGERS IN YOUR HOME.
I am from Lasalle Ontario near Heritage Estates just wondering if anyone in and around the area is having the same issue with Japanese beetles i find them rather annoying.
So there have been many reports (to Metro staff) about purses being stolen from peoples shopping carts at Metro (formerly A& P) on Tecumseh Road East and Central (Central Mall). I want to stop this from continuing, and the police don't seem to be doing anything.
To the goofy looking balding cyclist who thinks it's a good idea to lane split and move to the front of the line at red lights. The share the road idea applies both ways, drivers and cyclists. If I have to give you a meter while passing, don't pass me and take the lead spot at a red light, without giving me a meter as well. If you came to the light in the third position, that's where you stop! Rules of the road apply to you, you're not special. Please stop trying to get a ghost bike of your own.
I am looking for some information. On Friday July 10, 2015, between the hours of 11:00PM and 2:40AM I parked my black Honda Civic in the TD Parking Lot on the corner of Ouellette Ave and Pitt Street. I was parked on the side next to the Panache Ultra Lounge; the third car in from Pitt Street. The parking lot was very well light. During those times above, a random individual had keyed both sides of my car very deeply (from the headlight to the trunk on both sides); costing me around $4000 in damage. If anyone knows any information or saw some suspicious behaviour in that area during those times, please comment on this post and we can speak further. Note: I truly believe that this was a RANDOM attack because I have no reason to think otherwise. Thank you.
I was out for a walk with my dog last night just before nightfall. I noticed an older model car, similar to a 1985 model monte carlo or grand prix, two tone grey or blue, driving very slowly by me. When I turned into the park to let my dog run a bit, he went around and pulled in to the parking lot by the tennis courts. He then popped the hood of his car and tinkered around but I could see him watching us. When I started to head home, he quickly closed the hood and drove slowly up the street. I was seriously creeped out and when I was out of his site, blocked by the pool building, I ran to the other side of the building and around it, staying out of his view, while he crept very slowly down the road, while I'm sure wondering where I went. Once he was at the other end of the park, I ran a different route home constantly looking back to see if the car came back.
I am not easily scared but in this instance I felt very threatened.
If you live near or go to Central Park (Woodlawn between Beals and Norfolk), please keep your eyes open. It's an easy car to spot.
