Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
To the owner of the convenience store that sold the scratch ticket to the little boy. Do you know how many violations you just committed. To the father who stood right beside his son and allowed and even encouraged this, what kind of parent are you?
Dear colour run organizers.... when you have a 90 year old man (my Dad) stuck on the far side of your runners in 39c heat, perhaps it would be a good idea to assist him across rather than making him sit in the heat for near an hour waiting for it to pass.... he collapsed before making it back to his residence from heat exhaustion and is in hospital with a head injury, a cut lip and is hooked up to IV to replace lost fluids. It's not even a competitive run! Shame on you for not assisting him!
To the individual at the end of Edward Avenue this morning, Saturday July 18:
Posting "Street for Sale!" and "Best Offer" signs and covering the "Danger due to..." signs for the construction is totally going to make all the construction go away. The fact that our street is torn up is frustrating for all of us, not just you. Posting signs over top of the danger due to open holes, ongoing excavation and reversing vehicles is dangerous. The residents on the street know what's happening, but people who are, say, visiting friends or family or from out of town don't know what is. It's a hassle right now, absolutely, but I for one and pleased that we will have a nice, paved street and fresh water mains and clean out valves after this is all over. My daughter and I will be walking down and taking your signs down before someone gets hurt.
Did anyone witness this ? A white caravan knocked a man off his bike on June 23 around 445 pm at lloyd george and tecumseh there was yelling afterwards
I just received a call from someone claiming to be Revenue Canada Tax audit dept. They had WAY more information about me than I was comfortable with. They claimed that there was criminal charges pending against me for tax fraud and evasion and they needed my lawyers name and number. When I asked them to verify they were from Revenue Canada they promptly hung up. Yeah RIGHT Revenue Canada my a#$!!!
I called the Windsor Police Service and they said it is a scam going on and the big 3 Telecommunications companies are working on tracking them down...DO NOT give any information to these people and if they do get you on the phone tell them to verify who they are and that should be the end of the call.
This is the number that called me...1-613-366-3856.
Be careful and I hope they don't manage to scam anyone. STAY SAFE.
My friend and I were heading into Amherstburg last night when we came upon these bikers. We had to follow them for a few Km's since they decided to ride 2 to 3 across and when we could pass, we couldn't because they were riding on or over the middle line.
I believe there is a new law that states to legally pass a bike you must be at a greater distance, how can we when they decided to ride the line (again sometimes over the line)
FYI passenger took the picture
Not sure how you passed a drivers exam but apparently the section on pedestrian cross walks must have escaped your attention!
To the clueless girl driving the older Honda and the douche bag alongside her who had the audacity to hang his head and part of his body out the passenger side window in front of Sears to yell obscenities at me...when you are approaching those large yellow lines on the pavement it is YOUR responsibility to yield to pedestrian traffic not the other way around!
But hey, based on buddies mouth you may just have to hit someone before you finally learn that life lesson! For your own sake hopefully you don't mame or kill someone first.
Signed,

This has been going on for years, but my wife received a call last night that went to voice mail from someone claiming to be from the CRA saying that we owed them $3000.
She called the number back that they gave her (1-855-487-8483), and the person on the other end was continually insisting that she needed to pay this money, at one point saying that they would be sending the RCMP to our house to arrest her in the next half hour.
This is obviously not the CRA and if you search the phone number online you will see they have been doing this all over north America for a long time.
Don't forget, the CRA have all your financial information, if someone is demanding your SIN or something like that demand that they tell you what your income was last year, or 2 years ago. If they can't answer, they are NOT from the CRA. As well the CRA will send several notices by mail, culminating to a registered letter before they will ever threaten legal action or call you on the phone for immediate payment.
