Two dogs walking by busy street

This morning on my drive to work, I saw two dogs walking loose together on the sidewalk on Dominion between Totten and Holy Names high school. This is not the first time I have seen them walking around by themselves, I could not see any owner near them (I may have missed it but I don't think so). One is a pug and the other looks like a boxer mix (I think it's a boxer mix because of the boxer like face but it seems smaller than most boxer breeds I know) I am really concerned for their safety as Dominion is REALLY busy in the mornings with the schools around it. People often try to pass around the buses as they stop for passengers and I would hate to see one of these dogs injured, especially since the pug is so small it would not be easy to see. If you are the owner or know these dogs please let them know about this issue. (I didn't know if 'bad sighting' really fit but it certainly didn't make me happy to see so I went with it)

Are you kidding me?

To the disgusting prices of gas. I was told last weekend that it could get as high as $1.50 a litre this summer in Windsor Ontario area. So annoyed with this, there must be something we can do. I am already looking to start a carpool with 3 other co-workers and they are glad we are doing it. How are we supposed to enjoy vacations and afford things in general with Gas prices that are this high and only getting higher.

This must be STOPPED

Awful Mom

To the Awful Mom at Hetherington grade school that picked up her daughter in the silver car. You do know it is ILEGAL and just STUPID to light a cigarette while your daughter is bouncing around in the back seat while driving. It was raining so your windows were up. Hope your daughter grows up to be a better person then you.

Dog Walkers

On my daily walks in South Windsor, and I'm sure all over the city you have one not so kind neighbour leaving poo bags in fields along fence posts and beside garbage bins. If you are going to take the time to pick it up then take the time to dispose of it properly. You don't think you've been SPOTTED?....think again. The pile of black poo bags by Curry Park ..you've been Spotted. From every window around your neighbourhood there is someone watching you. It is only a matter of time when that pile gets too high someone is going to follow you home..get your address and report it. Sure, first its a warning but, it could be nice fine that your not prepared for the next time. So please be a responsible dog owner. Pick it up and toss it in the garbage.

Expressway ENTRANCE

Today. 1:30pm. Walker Road EC Row Expressway Entrance Ramp. Silver Jeep. HELLOOO driver!! You obviously realize mid- ramp you made a mistake, so your response is to BACK OUT of the ramp!!! You are an IDIOT! Thankfully those of us approaching to merge onto the ramp, and those with the green light to turn left into the ramp across Northbound traffic on Walker Road were all paying attention so as to not become embroiled in a major collision. Seriously, WTF is the matter with Windsor drivers. Note to self buddy- next time follow the rules of the road, or stay off them. Like someone's safety isn't worth an extra 7 minutes if your time...,. In a hurry to go no where!😡

Yelling at your kids

Today I was sitting outside my sons school Percy p McCallum, waiting for the bell to ring. A younger mom got out of a black Grand Prix and ran In to grab her kids. She had two beautiful little girls. As she brought them back to the car she was screaming and swearing at them to get in the car and to hurry up and let's go! And when I say screaming I am not exaggerating. Not only did she jump in the car as fast as she could, the two girls had to open the doors to the car get in and shut the doors all while the mom was still screaming from inside to hurry up. One of the little girls was maybe 5-6 and struggled with the door. It amazes me that a parent, who's at least in her late 20s can scream so loud and swear at such a little child. My heart is with those girls today. And really to the crappy parent and whoever the other adult was in the car... If you were in such a hurry you could have helped the kids get in the car instead of jumped in and let them do it theirselves.

More respect needed towards wearing OUR UNFORM

As a proud Canadian citizen and friend's of men who have served as REGULAR force Non Commission Member's I have spotted a problem which needs amending. I have never served for this country, but being a close friend of someone who has, I see the tremendous amount of pride taken in doing so. Needless to say the number of individuals in this city who I have spotted wearing their fatigues, when civilian attire is appropriate is despicable. This is not intended to harp on those who have enlisted as reservists enrolled in the Canadian armed forces but these are the ones who this is directed towards. Please stop being SPOTTED wearing your fatigues in a non duty environment .I have witnessed at 1 am at Caesar's Windsor and strolling the streets of Oullette, intoxicated individuals who are not following protocol. You are not serving this country as you should but the opposite. I don't know if this is to add to an element of your pickup game or to be cool but, to people who take pride in what the uniform stands for (CANADA), it is an embarrassing site. I, as a proud member of this country ask kindly that you follow the orders of the Queen and only wear your uniform when you are entitled. It is disrespectful to myself and even more so for those who have breasted the Canadian flag in battle. This isn't a joke. I have brought this to the attention of many regular force members who serve this country everyday and the disrespect which goes along with these actions is great. I thank every member of the Canadian armed forces for the duties they carry out on a daily basis, and am proud to say this is CANADA.
