Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
To the man in the blue pick up that was rear ended this morning near the expressway, I just thought you might be interested in knowing the guy in the white car was texting. That's why he hit you. I just told my daughter that he was going to cause an accident... Then boom. I don't know if it will make a difference or not, but I thought you should be aware. To the young man that was texting while driving, count your blessings that it wasn't much worse! Put your phones down!! If it's that important, pullover!!
I just came back from a shopping trip with my 3 year old and my hubby, we went to Walmart on Dougal. I've had a lot on my mind today, and the last couple of days. As I was shopping, my hubby had to take my son out side because of a little tantrum he was having. I stayed and paid for the groceries, therefore I put my purse down, which I NEVER DO! I put it in the front of the cart as I loaded the cart, brought it all to the car, loaded it in the trunk, and my hubby put the cart back. He said he didn't notice my purse in the front, and thinks someone grabbed it as they walked by our car as we were loading our groceries.
Long story short, I went to costumer service and of-course nothing was returned. So to whom ever has my black Aldo golden chain shoulder strap purse, God sees you. Karma will have you, I had a little over $100 in cash, all my ID and my house keys in there.
I wish everyone had a heart like mine, if I saw a purse I wouldn't even second guess. I would bring it to where ever I found it with hopes the owner received it. I've NEVER done this before and I feel like it's my fault that someone now has my personal belongings. It's not sitting well with me, I know it's just a purse, ID and money. It all can be replaced, but to the person who has no heart and is looking at my ID right now and spending my money. God is watching you. My purse should've never left my arm, but people also need to stop being so sh***y. That's the most expensive grocery trip I've ever been in needless to say.
I left my Optimum card behind at the Zehrs in LaSalle on May 4th. I did not realize it until weeks later when I saw that points had been used from my account. When I contacted PC Optimum customer service they said it had been used at the same Zehrs on May 10th to buy a very expensive prime rib and they refuse to give the points back.
To the person who stole it instead of turning it in - I don't make a lot of money and try to save up on points for when I really need them. I sometimes rely on my Optimum points to purchase things for basic needs. I am very disappointed in your lack of integrity.
So, this morning just before 8am, some absolute moron in a turd-coloured pickup ran my Cherokee off of Highway 3, forcing me half-into the gravel shoulder/ half into the shallow ditch, as he played chicken with me while performing a heroic pass of about 7 vehicles. I'm ok, my Jeep is ok, but this guy did manage to clip someone while performing this idiotic manoeuvre as he tried to squeeze back in, I saw plastic/ debris fly everywhere.
Anyways, nobody stopped, and I did call the OPP to put in a report, but if you're the car that got clipped, I'd love to help you out and get that a-hole. And if you're the deuchebag in the turd truck, there's a lot to say to you, but I'll save it at grow up' for now. Nobody deserves to have people like you on our roads.
Just wondering if anyone else has been noticing that people lately have been becoming less and less courteous.
My wife and I often go for a walk in the morning and after supper in the area of Blue Heron Pond by Little River Road.
More often lately an organized group of people jogging on the trail in the opposite direction to which we are walking are running in a group three abreast while my wife and I walk side by side on the right hand side. The runners opposing but coming at us are taking up three quarters of the trail forcing us to either step off or walk in a row behind each other while they continue to stay abreast. This is often done by walkers opposing us as well.
My question is what ever happened to common courtesy and do you really feel entitled to take up almost the entire path or sidewalk??
Yesterday afternoon I was driving down Dougall, and the light was green but I stopped at the light because the traffic was backed up and I didn't want to block the intersection incase the light changed to red. So the impatient woman behind me layed on her horn and proceeded to shoot me the finger. And then the light turned red so I'm glad I did not listen to her and go through. It's people like you who cause accidents with your impatient self. How about you just go around if you don't like it? I will do what I want to do in order to drive safely and correctly. I'm sick of these rude people going crazy on you on the road for you doing NOTHING wrong! And when she drove past me a few mins later she shot me the finger and mouthed off to me and drove away really fast! I hope you see this and realize how wrong you were and how very rude you were. And everyone around us saw you! I hope you feel good about yourself.
Yes it was very sad to see all these parents at Jackson park yesterday with their children taking pictures watching all their hard work through these years to bring them to this day of happiness only to walk back their car to see a fine for parking!! It was awful and nobody was in anyone's way everyone was parked single file and very organized with nothing but 1 litttle signed tucked in a tree that nobody could see. it is so disappointing that Windsor could do this! Invite schools to the beautiful park just to fine them, very upset parents. Over 100 cars ticketed, hope they need that money
Just tonight Thursday May 17, 2018 I was leaving adventure bay around 5:30 pm and there was a darker skinned man waking through the parking lot asking for money. I was walking to my van with my 4 year old daughter when I told him I'm sorry I don't carry cash with me and he chased my daughter and I to our van! As I hurried and put her in an locked the doors he started yelling that I was lying and that he needed my money for food! I have never been so scared in my life!
