Could have been tragic!!

To the driver hauling brush on the expressway this morning around 10:25 am. You sir / madam, need to learn the necessity of securing your load! I don't know how that piece of tree managed to come off of your truck and land in the middle of the westbound Lane! The traffic was extremely heavy and the drivers around me had to slam on their brakes and swerve to miss other cars that were trying to miss that piece of tree. Thank you to all the drivers around meith quick reflexes that were paying attention. Thank you to the gentleman that got out of his pickup truck behind me, after almost rear-ending me, to pull that piece of tree off the road. This could have been the worst Monday morning for many people. To the driver again, you should consider yourself very lucky that you are not being held responsible for several injuries and possible deaths this morning. I hope you see this post and understand the gravity of your error. Do better!!

Bully

On Sept 19 we were at Hotel Dieu Hospital and witnessed a woman trying to take a wheelchair away from a volunteer. They are only allotted so many for the fifth floor to take patients down to the exit after a procedure. This woman eventually forced he wheelchair away from the volunteer then brought it back several hours later and tried to apologize. I hope she sees this as she was extremely rude and selfish.

SLOW DOWN

Everyday I drive on Dominion and everyday I have come close to being hit head on. Going up dominion towards cabana at the curve it never fails that the cars coming north around the curve are going over 60mph or more, the POSTED SPEED is 20mph for that curve for a reason, many of these cars end up crossing the line due to their speed into my lane coming straight at me. I can see the shocked looks on their faces, I'm sure they see the terror on mine.
It seems to worsen with the start of the school year.
2. Are the drivers that feel they have the right of way to come into my lane when there is a legally parked car on the street instead of waiting for me to pass and causing a back up of cars because now the cars behind me can't go anywhere until these impaitent drivers get by. Or that can't stop to let someone turn into their driveway again causing a back up.
I don't understand why people find it so difficult to follow the rules it would keep traffic flowing and avoid unnecessary backups on a busy street. I love when I see the cops pull them over .more copa need to patrol this area during morning/ afternoon rush hours its a gold mine.

To the person who broke into my fiances car by smashing his window while he was in class, I hope you enjoy the two bags of dirty gym and work clothes and cheap amazon speaker you got away with. It's all you deserve. I'm not sure how you sleep at night knowing you steal from already broke university students adding on to their already stressful lives.

LIGHT AT RIVERSIDE AND LAUZON

ok, since the construction happened at riverside and lauzon alot of people and I mean alot do not understand how to turn right onto lauzon. YOU HAVE A YEILD NOW. that means the person wanting to turn left onto lauzon off of riverside has the right of way and you need to yeild to them. lauzon is a dead end, there is no more Abars so who would you be yielding to? The people turning left get to go before you and you need to stop and let them turn. I live around there, take it every day and let me tell you cars turning left are fed up and going and are ready to hit every single one of you who arent yielding. read the signs of the road!!!

You didn't just steal our things. You stole our piece of mind.

I would really appreciate if you would take the time to share in hopes this is read by the individual.

I want to post this message in hopes that the person/ persons who broke into the shed in my backyard sometime in the past couple of days on Tourangeau road sees. The first thought that crossed my mind was sadness. This afternoon while about to spend some family time together we found our back sheds door had been unscrewed and off. Someone had taken the time to remove the screws and it appears they had taken time to carefully go through all of our items. My 7 year old son stood there next to us crying out tears as he noticed more and more of his possessions are no longer here.

The fishing rods that his dad and I saved up for and bought for fathers day a few short months ago are gone. You see, we are not well off. We saved for months to be able to buy these fishing rods and fishing gear so that my son and husband would have a hobby while spending time together. The bounce house my son got for his birthday has been used at family gatherings and when friends visit and holds memories of fun times and laughter. The bikes that you took have taken away our ability to spend time together while going on bike rides. These are only a few of the things you have taken from us. There were many more that we keep coming to realization.

The hardest thing to accept that you have taken is my sense of calm, my piece of mind and my childs innocence as I explain to him that mommy and daddy will do our best to repurchase these items but it will take time.In the last 5 years of living in our home, we have had our car broken into twice and I thought that was hard, this is harder. I found some of my sons baby clothes on the bottom of our shed all dirty as you threw things around in search of items of value. You took some of my sons baby clothes and stuffies I was saving for our next baby. (the sentimental value of those cannot be replaced. I sit here now trying to think of all the things you may have taken that I have not yet realized.

The reality of it is that these items are materialistic things and that's the only lesson I can learn from this. I am currently trying to tell my sobbing 7 year old son that maybe someone needed it more than us. We never had it easy in life. We have had to work for every cent we have ever had. We have had to save for months on end to be able to buy the things you took from us within seconds? minutes? hours? how many trips did it take? How did we not notice while it was happening? I really hope that you needed these items more than we do. That I can come to terms with. But its going to take myself and my family some time to come to terms with the fact that someone went out of there way to take what little we do have while tossing our belongings like they were garbage.

The last time we know the shed was fine was last sunday.

This happened sometime between monday to now. I cant help but to think this has happened within the last 24-48 hours and that maybe you were thinking to come back soon for more. On Thursday September 12th we found a bike on the front of our lawn and are wondering if this may have been when the theft had occurred.

A police report has been filed. I don't expect that we will get anything back. Like I said, I really hope you needed all of these things more than we did. But most importantly I hope that you find it in your heart to change your ways. We have worked our bums off for years to be able to have these things and they were taken in a matter of seconds. I hope that you can learn the value of working hard for the things you want in life. I may have to work extra hard for a while to replace what you took, but I will take pride knowing I worked for them for the second time.

Please get some help and guidance and I hope you feel some remorse for how you left this family feeling today.

Fundraising

To all the parents who put their kids out in front of Chryslers turnstiles asking for money. Half of us are going to be losing our jobs. Half of us DO NOT make $30/ hr. Some of us younger workers have just moved out on our own and now with the constant lay offs are almost broke. So when I say no to your child STOP ROLLING YOUR EYES AND SNICKERING AT ME. honestly you adults have soooooo much more money than me I'm sure. I got about $50 in my bank account and you're going to make me feel guilty for not donating money for your child to play a sport? Are you serious???? STOP!
