Flower Power

Today while sitting at McDonalds we saw a woman who was visibly having a rough day. Either health issues or substance issues. Either way she was having a troubling day. Having her belongings in a bag beside her, she was in need of a pick me up.
A stranger dropped this little handmade pin off on her plate while she was in the washroom. Snapped a shot of her plate as we left as it was a highlight of our season.
Snow falling and Christmas spirit is in the air.
Do something nice for a stranger today and let's keep this going.

Random Act of Kindness

Thank you to the kind gentleman at Kelsey's in Tecumseh! My husband and I were having burgers and drinks to discover our meal was paid for by a stranger! The server told us that the man that paid for our meal had his contract renewed at Hiram Walker's that day and it was his wife's birthday! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day and especially for your generosity. You Sir have been spotted! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Met Pediatric Floor

On Tuesday December 5th, my 5 yr old went in for surgery. I want to SPOT all of the pediatric floor nurses and the Dental Surgery team. You made my daughter's day beyond easy. As a parent, it's only natural to panic during a child's surgery. My experience with this was beyond amazing, as well as my daughters. I want to shout out to everyone on the 3rd floor of Met Hospital for your outstanding care of not only my daughter but of me as well! Merry Christmas and thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Signed a grateful mommy!

Dollar store sweetheart

My two girls and I stopped into the outlet mall dollarama today to grab a few basic foodstuffs out of necessity. Having had a very stressful time of late, I was annoyed to find that my card was declined at the checkout (an issue with the bank I'd thought was resolved). After telling the cashier that I'd come back for it with cash later,

I turned to let my girls buy their little treats (purchased with their own change), when a very sweet woman from the line behind us stepped forward and paid for our $13 bag of food before the cashier could cancel the order.

I was struck silent by her generosity, and could not thank her enough. I was very nearly brought to tears realizing her generous act saved us from another 30 min walk in this cold windy weather.

So this this is just a shout out to that wonderful woman who helped a struggling single mom today, and whose generosity helped my girls understand the true meaning of the holiday spirit. Thank you, and best wishes for a happy holiday season to you too!

To the kind woman at dollar tree

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the woman at the dollar tree in Tecumseh. You saw I was having a rough day today and said a prayer, gave me a hug and some kind words. I don't even know how to express how much this helped me. I'm bipolar and have been having a very rough couple of weeks. I had no one to talk to and I had gotten some horrible news today and was starting to have a mental meltdown but your kindness stopped me from spiraling out of control. Thank you so much for the kind words and may you and your family have a blessed holiday season.

Caboto Club Family

A family friend of ours lost a family member this past weekend and my husband and I wanted to do something kind for their family. We decided to call and ask if the Caboto Club would be able to throw a dinner together for us to bring to them. The woman on the phone said they don't normally have the kitchen up and running unless there is an event going on, however, she'd ask to see what they can do. We wanted to thank Stan and the Caboto staff who went above and beyond in preparing dinner for our friends, providing much more food then we had ordered, especially on such short notice. Stan told my husband that the Club would do anything for a family in need. Thank you again for your kind service and warm hearted condolences.
