Spotted: the staff at the EB Games in Tecumseh Mall,
It's amazing the clientele you have to deal with on a daily basis. From social inept nerds (like myself! haha) to folks ignorant to the gaming world, to bratty kids who scream and get what they want, to beef heads who yell at you (especially the ladies), and the folks who just can't seem to figure out you don't want to talk to them like you are longtime friends.
I know many (if not all) of you work part-time or full-time elsewhere and you continue to subject yourself to the public for the sake of a passion for gaming (and probably the discount lol). Keep up the good work.
I was running late to work after hearing some bad family news. I stopped at the subway on Howard just off the expressway. The girl at the counter couldn't get the debit to work and I was running out of time and could t get to the bank machine (work midnights). She mentioned it was acting up all dad and didn't want to call the manager so late. I dug out a $5 and nothing else. It was almost 7 and she said "don't worry about it, I will take it out of my tips. I was shocked. I promised to go back next time I was through and pay back. the redhead waitress wasn't there but I am confident it will be past off to her. and I will be in that store again with a much better tip ( I decided quick and only had a two dollar coin On me and stopped. Bottom line, It made my
Night. Sub was awesome and my faith in humanity restored !
to the ladies behind me in line at Fresh Co. on McDougall yesterday at 4:30pm:
Thank you for your kindness. They noticed something I was buying and handed me a coupon for it - so I would get it for FREE. Then, I felt bad because an item I purchased rang up too much and I held the line up and asked the clerk to check if i was correct in my price. The same ladies behind me perked up and said "She gets that free now right, because of the Scanning Code of Practice". The cashier would not have told me that rule but because these awesome ladies were there I got 2 things FREE!
Thank you ladies, you have been Spotted. That $7 will be paid forward.
Signed,
The one is Awe of your kindness.
To the guy who paid for my order today at the timmies drive-thru. Today was my day to buy for the office and the order was just under $10.00 and you paid it. I was so surprised, I bought for the car behind me, I tried to pull up next to you to thank you but you got lucky and made it through when the light was still green. So to you Mr White Dodge Ram, thank you for putting a smile on my face this morning. It's like you knew that I needed a pick me up, I hope I see you again in a drive-thru so i can get you back :P
Thank you to the kind man who took his time to review his dashcam and taking the time to come back to my work on Princess and Tecumseh to give me the licence plate number of the jerk who decided to swerve and hit a puddle to purposely soak me while i was outside taking photos of cars for my job on Saturday, you have been appreciably spotted :) & To the jerk who thought it was funny to purposely swerve and hit that puddle, even though you soaked me I was able to save my bosses expensive camera, I could've called the cops and have you charged but I believe in karma, I hope you got a good laugh, cause I was smiling just as much when that kind man came in with your licence plate number and reminded me even though jerks like you exist there is still good in this world :) you've been spotted :) thank you again.
To the person who randomly decided to clear the snow off my car and thought it was going to go unnoticed, it didn't. Thank you for doing that for me. It saved me sometime and kept me warm.
I went to pull something out of my wallet when I got home after dinner and realized I didn't have it. When i called around to where I had been earlier that day and no luck. I was very bummed and didn't know what to do. Suddenly I get a call from Canadian Brewhouse where I was earlier that night. They went to have a second look for my wallet and couldn't find it. When they went back to the bar they saw a lady turning one in and that's when they called me. To the red head that turned it in, thank you so much for saving me the time and trouble of getting all my ID all over again.
So happy good people still exist!
