Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
I just wanted to give a little recognition to my wonderful neighbours. September 23 2013 my husband fell 18 feet out of a tree and has been unable to walk since. With this being the worst winter I can remember for snow and cold. My wonderful neighbours have taken the time each and every snowfall and through bitter cold weather to come over and make sure our driveway was clear of all snow. So that we wouldn't be stranded and we are so great flu to them for taking the time out of their busy lives to help us out. If the world had more neighbours like that it would be a happier place :) You guys know who you are. But please know you've been spotted!
To all of the wonderful emergency personnel (police, ambulance, fire, tow truck operators, etc.) working through this weather, I salute you. The world needs more selfless, dedicated people like you!
To everyone braving the weather, please drive carefully and allow for extra time!
To everyone who actually shovels and salts the sidewalks and roads, thank you for caring for other people's safety, even though it's not your job!
You have all been spotted! :)
Our Neighbours Ken and Brittany who always shovel our sidewalk before we can get to it! They know we have a snowblower and will get to it but they are so kind to do it for us. Even today on her day off, Brittany is out there in the blowing snow, shoveling away (even after I told her not to! lol) Thanks for always being awesome neighbours!!
I attempted to bring my children to school this morning in the county as I needed to get to work, however, just before getting there I ended up stuck in the drifting snow because of the high winds. I was stuck there for 10 mins, then two young men stopped and attempted to push me out. Unfortunately this did not work, another gentlemen stopped in his SUV and pulled me out. I am SO appreciative of those who stopped in this nasty weather to help me and my children. You have been spotted!!
From an appreciative mother!
LOOK! A man with no head just shovelled us out! Not only us but several other neighbours too! WE LOVE YOU RAYMOND FRISK!
My family and I have usually only gone to chain restaurants. I know there are so many hidden treasures in this city amd rather than setting New Years resolutions have just made a goal to support local and try different ethnical cuisines this year! So this is not a spotting, but more so looking for your spottings! Where are your favourite Windsor restaurants?
When I left the house today I put something in the back of my truck, all the way to Windsor my dome lights and warning on dashboard said rear door open. Along my route I checked several times, it was definitely closed yet the warning a lights were still on! I knew leaving it like this was going to kill the battery so I stopped at Automaxx Service on Walker Rd. to ask for some quick help. I went into the office and employee came out I told him how I had put something in the back before I left home and it's been on ever since so he checked door then the window. When I used remote to open the rear door I must have hit it twice and it opened the window DUH!!
So to the 2 guys at Automaxx Service you have been spotted thank you so much!
From the lady that is still learning things in her black Tahoe!
