Was in dollarama today at McDougal and don't even remember opening my purse or anything but as we were leaving the man behind us tapped me and handed me my 280.00 juicy couture sunglasses that somehow came out of my purse, thank you very much I've had these forever and they mean alot to me, was in a rush so just kind of took off but thank you
Last night hubby and I went to Sams trattoria on Wyandotte it was after 11pm we worked and just wanted a nice warm meal, it was crazy loud and a huge group of Students were being obnoxious, the waitress had more than her hands full, stuff got messed up with our order but when we went to pay she fixed it all and made it all OK and we had a nice chat, I feel bad for her having to put up with the craziness going on in there, some ppl need to learn respect.. She really did go above and beyond and she was handling everything well... You are doing great and thanks for making our night a Lil better :)
My son is on the autism spectrum and is fascinated with cars, so we spend a lot of time at the dealerships checking out cars and collecting brochures. It's a great way for him to be rewarded, and at the same time, work on his social skills. We stopped by Rose City Ford yesterday and I'd like to say thank you to everyone for being so kind, and especially Eugene for taking the time to search in the back for the Transit brochure. My son's Ford collection of brochures is now complete because of you. You may not realize it, but with kids on the spectrum things like this truly do mean the world to them (and to their parents too!) You've been spotted! Thank you!!
I was traumatized as a child by my dentist. Thanks to Dr. Flis in Tecumseh for filling my back tooth today and making it an actual pleasant experience! You've changed my perception of a dental appointment!
Thank you so much!
Shame on the elderly gentleman that bought two dozen punchkie at a bakery on Manning Rd, the lady behind him bought one dozen. My grandson was next in line and was about to buy the last 4 punchkie when the elderly gentleman said he wanted the last four punchkie. The bakery sold him the last four.
Thank you to the kind lady behind my grandson that pre-ordered one dozen and gave my grandson six of her punchkiie.
While driving downtown today, I found I had to play dodge with my car tires and some really nasty potholes. The worse street I seen was Gladstone St., where some of those potholes, if I had hit them; would have required a new tire alignment for sure, they were so deep! Please Windsor, take note of Gladstone this year, when you are fixing the roads; they sure could use some major patch up work at the very least.
I just wanted to say that I am so inspired by the stories that are posted on this site. It shows me how many generous people there are in Windsor, that truly care about others.
I am always looking for people just like that, to mentor students age 14-21 with intellectual disabilities based on a shared interest. It is a program through Community Living Ontario, and designed to help these students build self esteem, develop skills, become connected with their community and think about opportunities after high school. If you would be interested in hearing more about the program, please email me. I service all of Windsor and Essex County. I hope to hear from some of these kind hearted people that have been written about. Continue to be awesome!
