Red Van at McDonalds

I've read a few posts from this site before about people performing random acts of kindness but today I found myself (quite unexpectedly) on the receiving end!
I just wanted to say a big "Thank You!!" to the gentleman in the red mini-van ahead of me at the McDonald's on Walker Road by Costco who paid for my entire order. It's not like it was a coffee, it was lunch for my 3 children!
I just wanted you to know that I put that $20 back in my purse and set it aside for the next Mom I see at Wal-mart (or the next place I go) that could use it for diapers or the next little child that I see who would really appreciate picking something out for themselves in the toy aisle!
Thanks again for putting a smile on my face and helping me teach my girls the effect one person can have on you with a simple act of selflessness :)
I'm excited to Pay-it-Forward!!

Community Outreach

Maybe it's not proper for me to "spot" something that I am very much apart of but I believe it's important that the people of Windsor and beyond know about the great work that is happening in often times forgotten Old Sandwich Town, located west of the Ambassador bridge.

Located at 3578 Bloomfield Rd is a little store front with major heart. Within the walls of that building is a community space that is being utilized to nurture the minds, bodies, hearts and souls of a community. The space is knows as The Bloomfield House, and it is entirely run by the people who frequent the space. In our city of Windsor, people have of many different experiences have come together for the greatest good of each other, to participate in a revolutionary idea; kindness and sincerity.

To understand the importance of this special space, please watch the youtube video that has been provided. Everyday in our community there is a "Spotted in Windsor" moment and that makes my heart flutter. :)

Special THANKS to Angela from Masterminds!

I had a really disappointing experience at Michael's with the Rainbow Loom Class.
Yet, Yesterday I took my little one to Masterminds for the class and the Instructor was simple
AMAZING. She not only taught my kid how to loom but she corrected the way she was holding the hook.

At Michaels kids get no instruction or guidance whatsoever! It's only $5.00 for the parent to loose 2 hrs. of their day. I mean loose because you can't leave the store at all, or so they tell you.

At Masterminds not only is Free, they teach, provide the material for the kids, and the Instructor Angela is super nice with every child.

Thanks Angela, you are an angel.

Sincerely,

A very happy customer and Mom.

Good Samaritans in Tecumseh

In the a& w plaza parking lot, 3 men and a woman stopped what they were doing in this freezing weather to help push my daughters car out of a snow drift. Thank you very very much.

To the cashier at Metro on Central

I'd just like to "spot" the cashier from Metro on Central on Tuesday night. My boyfriend and I stopped in to get a couple things and as she was cashing us out she told me I had the cutest dimples. I know it's just a small compliment but I just couldn't stop smiling all the way home. Thanks for making my day :)

Kind driver

Driving home from work today on Manning Road a transport truck driver was standing outside his truck which had slightly slid off the road. People were stopping and attempting to help get him out. It made me smile knowing amid this ridiculous weather there are still kind people out there who are willing to get a little cold and dirty or be late to wherever they're heading to help someone get home to their family. As a daughter of a transport truck driver I can only hope that someone would extend this courtesy to my father if he were in this position! Way to go everyone!
