Thank you to these three businesses for making my crappy day today a little less crappyish!!
Timimi Remedy: Wasn't feeling well at all today and the doctor sent me home with a list of meds to start tonight. after being called, you came to my house, picked up my script and insurance card, and then brought back my filled script and card and called me to explain everything. having had a nap while you were gone I'd brought my wallet out but was too scatter brained to remember to pay or tip. when I got in the house I called to tell them to send the driver back because I hadnt paid. they said there was nothing owing. when I insisted there's always a copay, the guy on the phone laughed, said it was waved and he (Khalid the pharmacist) "does that". you guys can't imagine how much you were appreciated just for picking up the script but the waved copay was extra sweet. so to Khalid and his brother (who came to my house twice in the rain) and staff, thank you!!
Valentina: my mom happened to be at our hairdresser while I was complaining on her phone about not feeling good and having to go fill my script. Valentina (who has become a good friend, is one of the best people you will ever meet and does amazing hair) actually called Tamimi, gave them my basic information and sent them to my house to pick up the script so I wouldn't have to go out. people like her are a rare find and I'm lucky to know her. also for anyone interested she is by the bakery on Tecumseh E after caboto. her prices are the best I've seen and she's amazing ;)
Clippingdales: after going through disasters with other grooming places and groomers, a friend recommended me to these wonderful people. I worry about my dogs like they're real little people and I hate for them to be hurt or scared. Clippingdales sent me home with happy and beautiful puppies who no longer smell like pickles and dirt. best hair cut they've ever had and they didn't gouge me.. very fair. I will be back :)
I don't have bad days often but when I do, I'm always lucky to meet people like this to make it better :)

To the gorgeous girls and kind gentleman working at Stitches in Tecumseh mall, one tall and blonde, and the other one a tad shorter with a lip and eye brow piercing with black hair, and the gentleman wearing white shorts with ear piercings, you guys never fail to make me laugh. Thank you for always helping me and always giving me a good laugh while out shopping and waiting for my bus. Keep up what you're doing!
Thank you and you have been spotted!
To everyone working at Rose City Dental this morning, you are all awesome! From the receptionist to the dental assistants to the dentist, you were all so patient and kind. I had all 5 of my kids there today, 4 of them had an appointment and I had the baby with me as well. Everyone was so great with my kids, especially with the two little ones who had never been to the dentist before. They didn't mind my 3 yr old running back and forth from the waiting room to the exam rooms and allowed the 2 youngest to sit on daddy's lap to get there teeth checked. They explained everything to all the kids before the did it and let the older kids help. It was a feet experience for all of us and I'm so glad we chose to go there. THANK YOU ROSE CITY DENTAL!!
From the mom crazy enough to book all 4 kids at once :)
Thank you to the kind lady in the vehicle in front of me at the Tim's drive thru at Manning and County Rd 46 at about 8:05 am April 3rd. While I have randomly paid for other's drive thru order's just for the fun of doing it and because its a nice thing to do, this morning I unexpectedly had the same thing done to me. The staff advised me the car in front of her had paid for her order so she was paying for mine. I of course then paid for the person behind me and I am hoping they did the same all the way down the line!! What a great way to start your morning. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to say thank you to the lady ahead of me as she was already gone but YOU and those ahead of you HAVE BEEN SPOTTED!!! Thank you!!!
This spotting of a good deed in Windsor comes a couple of weeks late but couldn't be left unacknowledged! I work as a paramedic in the city and in the course of a long night shift managed to lose my wallet along the way. I didn't realize I had lost my wallet until leaving work in the morning. Needless to say I was worried sick when I discovered my wallet missing and immediately set to retracing my steps throughout the previous shift which is no small feat for a medic as we tend to roam over a great area. I didn't have much hope of finding my wallet but I had to try something after a search of my base, ambulance and personal vehicle turned up nothing. Just when I was about to give up hope I received a call from our dispatchers who had been in touch with a kind citizen that had my wallet! A young man had been delivering papers and stumbled upon my wallet in one of the neighbourhoods we had attended to a patient in. I went straight to this young man's home and met with his mother who had gone out of her way to reunite me with my wallet early in the morning knowing how concerned I must be. My wallet was completely intact including some cash. I tried to offer the woman a modest reward of the cash in my wallet for her son who she had obviously done a great job raising but she refused repeatedly. This kind woman and her honest son had saved me untold expenses and headaches by getting my wallet back to me and didn't expect anything but the satisfaction of helping a stranger. In a profession that leads me to see things that sometimes challenge my faith in humanity it was great to get a reminder that kindness and generosity are still alive and well in Windsor.
Windsor Police Service, you have been spotted in Forest Glade!!! Such a nice thing to see early every morning when I look out my window while all the children are waiting for busses and walking to school, you patrol our area and make sure they are safe!! Way to go!
