2:20 Friday May 9 Westbound on E.C. Row. As we head towards the weekend everyone seems to think they are in a bigger rush to get home than the car in front of them.
So as I come onto E.C Row from Central a bus is in the left lane letting me in. I slow down and go behind him knowing that the construction is coming up on Howard.
People are passing from behind to get passed all us already waiting for the merge.
So I slip my tiny car out into the other lane to kinda say "hey, can you wait your turn?" And they just keep passing my. Well, thanks to the bus in front of me slowing everyone down behind us...He slipped out where I was at and I saved his spot in the left lane. Team work....gotta love it! You've been spotted.. I know you had somewhere to go as well and thanks for noticing what I was trying to do. It helped me get home a little faster too!

I was shopping a No Frill and my cart was full, and an older women came up to me a said... thats a full cart do u need help" this women is twice my age, after a bit of small talk she asked if I had kids. .. when I replied yes .. she replied with "I hope they appreciate your hard work, and I hope you have a happy mothers day"..... I was stressed out and that little bit of conversation completely made my day. THANK YOU stranger in the parking lot, Its nice to hear a compliment! !

An early Mothers day Surprise for you

All these beautiful little fuzzy babies are starting to hatch. Keep an eye out for them crossing the roads and stay away form them.

To the older gentleman in the card aisle at the Tecumseh & Howard Shoppers Drug Mart this morning...
My Grandma passed away in January and this is my first Mother's Day without her. She loved greeting cards and I always put a lot of effort into picking the "just right" card for her. It hit me this morning while reading THE perfect card for her that I no longer have to buy one and I was crying when you came along.

Yesterday I was at Walmart on Dougall with my Mom getting a few things. When we walked in I needed to go to customer service to exchange an item. While I was waiting there was a special needs man with a lady leaving. As they were leaving a young man that works at Walmart walked by him and complimented him on his "cool Mash t-shirt". It made the mans day. It is so easy to make people smile, and it takes little effort to make someone's day. To the young man who works at Walmart, good for you for taking the time to be nice and make someone smile!

Take a few moments out of your busy day and thank a soldier on this National Day of Honour to our Afghanistan warriors and the soldiers that carried onto a place so much better then this earth. Thanks to all that served and those that made the ultimate sacrifice.

To the guy on Parent who was out teaching his daughter to ride a bike for the last hour. The look on her face and yours when she finally started riding on her own was priceless. It's nice to see that, such a patient man. I bet she will remember that forever.
