Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
I wanted to give a big shout out to Ian at Walmart Vision Center on Tecumseh Road, I went there yesterday afternoon, after one of the arms on my glasses snapped off, and I wanted to see if they were stil under warranty and see about getting a replacement, well, he went out of his way to dig thru boxes and bags of old frames, and fixed them for me right there, so I wouldn't have to pay for a new pair. He is always a very pleasant guy, and a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend anyone needing new glasses to see him, you won't regret it!
To the gentleman in the silver car who paid for my coffee this morning at the Tim Hortons at Manning and County rd 42, thank you!! What a lovely gesture that brightened my day. You've been spotted.
On Friday around 4:30 after work i decided to go to star bucks for my first time (Tecumseh Rd E). & as I walked in the employees were so welcoming. The employee asked me what i wanted and I told her I really was not sure because I have not been to star bucks before. So she started to give me some suggestions and was telling me what was in all the frappes. So i finally decided on one and she was ringing in the price and i went to pay with debit. But their debit machine was down. So the lady asked me if I had cash on me and I told her I would pay with change because I never have cash on me. & the lovely employee said do not worry it is on us. So I got a free frap. I could not believe she did that. That was definitely a wonderful experience for a first time at star bucks... to whoever that employee was you were definitely spotted..:)
I was out for dinner at Pat and Hanks in Tecumseh with my boyfriend and his mom and a lady came to the table and offered us a coupon she had that she wasn't going to use. The coupon was buy 2 dinners and receive the 3rd for 1/ 2 price. It was such a kind and generous gesture. To this woman, thank you so much. To see you offer that to us warmed my heart. This was definitely the highlight of my day. You have been spotted!!
After going to the JASON BONHAMS LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE concert at Caesars tonight which was a great show by the way we then stopped at Jose's Noodle Factory for a late dinner. What a great dinner and a big shout out to our waitress KatrinA who really gave us the best personable service we have ever had! Thank you KatrinA you've been spotted for being an awesome server!!

I'm a server at Hurricanes and I would like to thank the young man John from Toronto who bought one of customers his meal yesterday. Everyone in the city has seen Joe, he rides his bike mostly in the west end. He visits all the places in Old Sandwich Town and is liked by all of us. He always says hello and he keeps to himself. He asked me to wait until he left to tell him, once I told him he was surprised and asked where he was. It made his day and mine. Nice to see the younger generation take notice of someone like him. I was spotted as well a few weeks ago and it was the best feeling in the world, so to the young man from Toronto I hope you see this because you've been spotted.
After having a beautiful Mother's Day flower arrangement delivered I noticed a crack in the glass and could not add water. I called Bruce Phillips Flowers and mentioned this and the next day they arrived with a brand new arrangement to replace it. Well done and I highly recommend this company for any of your flower needs I think they are on Wyandotte street.
