Great Customer Service

To the owner of Boyd Automotive
Thank you for the great friendly service you gave me and the great deal..... saving me $60 that the dealer wanted to re set my tire pressure sensors. Proving that privately owned and run garages have heart.
Anyone looking for repairs should look this place up! =)

Cheers to Small buisness

elderly woman who couldn't find her car, #randomactofkindness

today while I was sitting in the wal-mart parking lot returning texts, I noticed an elderly woman walking around in circles and pointing her key fob around like a metal detector, clearly looking for her car to no avail. I lose my car like a lot lol, so I could sympathize, especially for an older woman who might have more difficulty walking up and down the lanes. As I was about to ask if she needed help, another lady walked up, stating she couldn't find it either having apparently already joined the scavenger hunt on what I assumed was her way out the store. Suddenly this nice lady pointed to her van just a few spaces away and said she'd drive her around the parking lot so she wouldn't have to walk and off they went. I totally did one of those "aww that's so sweet" things and then I saw after she dropped the older woman off at her car, she came back around, parked again and got out. It's a little thing but the fact that she was headed in and stopped to help just made the gesture a little nicer :)

so to the super nice lady in the black dodge caravan with the Michigan decal on the back window Uve been spotted.

To the crossing guards at St Christopher school.. I spotted you at lunch recruiting a couple students to help you clean up the garbage flying around your corner. You and your wife know all the kids names and are always happy. Thank you for being great crossing guards and showing the kids to care about their environment.

Thank-you

I participated in the Home and School Association Meet the Trustee Candidates Night recently. I am running for Public School Trustee in Kingsville/ Essex. During my speech I referred to myself as something like being just a parent. On my way out I had a beautiful lady come up to me and tell me that I should never ever refer to myself again as being just a parent! She said that people like me are valuable assets and I should never think of myself that way. I want to thank her for going out of her way to stop me and say this to me. She didn't have to but she did. It means the world to me that she took that time to give me that advice. So the moral of my story is if you have something positive you want someone to know please tell them. It may just change their life!!!!!!!!! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you for that boost of confidence to move forward with my campaign.

Support Those Who Support All of Us in Good Times and Bad

I approached the home depot on Tecumseh Road East in Windsor, requesting that they donate a wheelbarrow as we were doing a wheelbarrow full of booze raffle to raise funds for a coworker that discovered he had leukemia. The beauty of this story is they found a bone marrow match for this coworker and he was about to head to Hamilton to have the bone marrow transplant, and hopefully start a new life being ridden of this terrible disease. This rehabilitation center that he would need to go to following his procedure, would cost $2800 a month, over and beyond the hospital - a service that we do not have any coverage for through insurance. This building provided care and access to the Hamilton hospital, if potentially something were to go wrong and he were to catch something, especially with the risk of having no immunity following this procedure. This was necessary to provide him with a germ free, less risk opportunity of catching something that could delay or inhibiting the success that the bone marrow transplant. Some of the risk could then be removed, and a greater sense of hope and a second chance at life for this kind hearted man seemed to be coming into focus clearer. The Home Depot obliged, as well as over 40 coworkers who donated bottles for this raffle as well!! In the end, $7,155 was raised to help this individual, so I just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to all who helped in the success of this event and to encourage people to shop at the Home Depot on the east end of Windsor !!! They truly are supporting those who support them !!!
