Today I was out at Tecumseh mall doing some last min shopping and as I was walking by Bluenotes this adorable little girl with a Christmas hat came up to me with a flower and handed it to me and said Merry Christmas. I smiled and said thank you and asked what it was for and her father sitting on the bench with a bucket full of flowers said Just because. His other daughter was on the other side handing out flowers as well. Kudos to that man for showing those little girls the gift of giving and how a small gesture can turn someones day right around. Kudos to those sweet little girls for being so excited to give complete strangers a flower just so they could see the smiles on their faces. Merry Christmas

Today I took my nieces to help me put some smiles on random people's faces. We grabbed 2 dozen roses which were donated by Victorias Flowers and Gift Baskets. We also had 25 $5.00 Tim Hortons gift cards. We sat at the entrance and I asked them to look around and tell me who they want to give these items too. They were off, running around with a rose and gift card in their hands. Putting smiles on random people's faces. But the rewarding part for them was when a lady teared up and thanked them for making their day. My oldest niece said to me "I'm so happy because we made so many people happy. Then it started....people randomly walked up to them and had bought them some treats from the shoppers across from us. Even people they didn't get to give a rose to were still bringing them a little gift. The smiles they brought to faces was only part of it. It was a huge deal to me that they understood why we were doing this. Thank you everyone who smiled back at them and thanked them for the little gift. While wandering around Tecumseh Mall this Christmas Eve, a little girl, maybe 4 years old ran up to me. In her elf hat, she smiled and handed me a small envelope. "Merry Christmas! It's a Tim card!" she yelled and ran back to her dad. He smiled and waved to me then sent her off to someone else with another card. Made my day! Thank you! You've been spotted!

Tim Horton's in Tecumseh Mall, I was short a dollar for my order, a teenager from behind me paid not the dollar, but the entire order.
Nice to see tomorrow's leaders in action! Merry Christmas to you son! I appreciate it!

I was out at Food Basics yesterday with my children getting a turkey for our Christmas dinner. I was walking to go get in line and this lady stopped me, and handed me $50 and said Merry Christmas. I was stunned and tried to give it back. She just smiled and said Merry Christmas again and walked away. You kind lady, have been spotted. You made our day better and we couldn't be more thankful.

This is to the young lady ( age 16) who came into the Tim Hortons's on Sandwich St. today ... and bought 24- $2 Tim Cards,, Her Mother told me that she has made up gift baskets 12 for women and 12 for men ... containing scarfs, hats , gloves, mitts, etc also personal hygiene products,,, She had work for this money by getting a job ... and this is what she wants to do with it .. These Baskets were being delivered to the Homeless Shelter in the area .. and this is true because we saw the back of the car filled with the baskets ...
I just want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT TO THIS YOUNG LADY .. who thought of others before herself ....

For anyone and everyone who knows what the Christmas Season is like in retail it can be a very hectic time for those to get their shopping done. Especially those of us who work Retail. We'll I am one of those individuals. So tonight I was in a panic needing to get photos printed in time for Christmas gifts. And with working everyday and only having 2 days off until the New Year , I had no time to get photos printed for gifts. I ended up rushing to the Super Store on Walker Road and was greeted right away by a man named Jack who asked if he could be of some assistance. I explained my dilemma about my photos and without a second thought be proceed straight to the self serve machines and turned one on for me. He kindly waited for the machines to load and helped me choose all the prints I needed for my Christmas gifts for my family. Jack your customer service was outstanding and for that I am forever grateful. Thank you so very much. Have a very Meer Christmas.
